well the mastiffs are also a new family called dogs, but oddly enough there is one dog that kept his wolf status.

Yeah I'm sure that will change once the pet passover is complete. :)

Well, I have a wolfhound foster IRL for adoption >.> She's like 10-12 weeks old and as big as my 13wk old saint bernard puppy, so we're pretty sure she's mostly, if not all wolfhound. If not, that's a huge giant schnauzer mix! She's golden colored with a red nose.

Yeah but the thing is people can class any big fuzzy puppy as a wolfhound/wolfhound mix, our mutt Heidi was classed as a wolfhound when well she wasn't, and a dog we did attempt to take in but couldn't due to bad socializing on the owners part, was said to be wolfhound but again wqasn't. Was some Borzoi mix.

If she's growing mostly like this then she should be a wolfhound. The gold color is really called Wheaten. But you mention that she has a red nose and not even Adam who was a brindle who did have red in him, have a red nose. All purebred Wolfhounds afaik have black, grey-black or brown-black noses. Leaning more to black for the latter two colors.

I looked at Shnauzer puppy pictures and, they don't look anything like a wolfhound so I doubt it's that.

Could she possibly be a Deerhound?

To the 'untrained' eye they are awfully close looking to the wolfhounds.
