Just wondering how reloading a new arrow works in Cataclysm. Does it work like it currently does if you don't have a quiver, where the character reaches back and pulls an arrow out of thin air behind their back? Or is there a cosmetic-only quiver that you pull out of?

For me it shows a quiver even when I don't have one equipped, but I do have one in a bag.....dunno if that'd change it or not.

The quivers went away ever since actual quivers did. It's a shame, really, I miss those.

After testing on a newly made lowbie or two, it looks like they are just magically appearing.

Blargh. That always looks a bit goofy. Maybe they'll address it later on, when they're just doing polish work.

OH MY GOD. I never EVER realized until now...

I've been seeing a quiver on my back. Hadn't occurred to me until I put my epic lvl 60 quiver (which I carry for lols, like my Scepter) into the bank, and it stopped appearing. Ladies and gentlemen, behold!



So if you carry a quiver in your bags, it shows, but not if you don't have one. It appears when you are firing your bow and until you do something else afterward. Tested it to be sure.

That's really... weird... If we're lucky, they're going to have a magically appearing quiver instead.

I seem to recall reading that all the existing quivers will turn into hunter-only bags in Cata. Has that showed up on the beta yet? And if so, are the quivers-turned-bags still linked to the graphics?

I'll be sad if my Ancient Sinew Wrapped Lamina just vanishes in a puff of smoke...

Noooo! I want to at least have the ability to have some kind of quiver. ;-; Not to wield, but to have in your bags so you get the graphic. Or at least give us a spot in the barber shop to chooser a quiver design we can have out when holding a bow.

I still have the Nerubian Reinforced Quiver attached, and I've always noticed that when my bow is out, the quiver shows. I love how it looks, so I stick with it. I never needed the extra bag slot, and it keeps my arrows tidy and in one bag. I hope it stays in Cata, will be sad if its gone. =(
