Pets of mine. (Warning, very picture heavy!)

My pets, at various stages in their lives.
First off... My late dog, Jamie. He was an absolutely wonderful dog. Golden Retriever, with a nice dark coat.
Image
A fake magazine cover we made for him. It pretty much outlines his personality. The picture behind the text is Jamie at his best, cooling off in our big bird bath after a nice round of ball.
Image
A sad looking Jamie.
Image
Searching for a rock that was tossed into the lake. He'll drag them over the lake floor with his paws until it gets shallow enough to dunk his head in and nab it.

Playing ball in the snow.

Jamie loved our Logical cat, Spock.

We have another Golden now, Echo. He's still only 6 months old or so.
Image
When we first picked him out. We chose him out of the other puppies for those big "D'awwww" inducing eyes.

Hiiiiiiiiiii.

Content puppy.

Echo enjoying some old stuffed animals. That's a very big leopard he chewed up.

The "second dog", Emily. We adore her, even if she's a possum-rat-raccoon-cat-fox. There's no dog in there.

And finally. Cats.

The -proper- way to sleep. This is our other cat, Summer.

Friends.

Love the goldens. I used to have a pair of golden retrievers a few years ago; we got them together from the same litter and raised'em from pups.

It is amazing how versatile golden retrievers can be. They can look like total goofballs one minute, and then look very solemn, noble and sad the next. Or they can be super intelligent when you don't want them to be (figuring out how to get in/out of places they shouldn't), and then be amazingly dense the next ("the skunk sprays me! It smells bad! Let's keep playing with it!" No lie, one of our goldens did that). Your pics reminded me of that, especially the sad one.
