So, off questing on my mage tonight, Gchat put me in the mind of rares. They have to go somewhere when they die, and aren't spawned..Okay, not really, but y'know. Anywho, this is my interpretation.

Rarespawn Bar, 4:38 P.M.
The bar is full, with the different types keeping to themselves, and everyone avoiding the none-too-fragrant undead. Over in the beast section, we have Loque'nahak, Grunter, and Sewer Beast.

[Loque] /sips fish martini, shudders.
[Grunter] What is it?
[Loque] Feels like someone's camping me again..
[SB] Hey, at least theygurglecamp you! Igurglenever get tamed..Always the guards..
[Grunter] Don't start that again.
[Loque] We know, we know..You never stop talking about it..
[SB] Yougurglesay something?
[Loque] Er, no.
Several hours pass, and rares who were on shift(spawned) start to come in, and others start to go out. Humar and Time-lost Proto-drake walk in.

[TLPD] /bumps Humar Oh, sorry about that.
[Humar] /Grins It's alright, not gonna bite your head off. Alright, I'm going home. SB, time to go.
[SB] /Grumbles angrily, and leaves.
[TLPD] Loque, you're up. Get goin'.
[Loque] ...
[TLPD] Loque, hey, c'mon now!
[Loque] /mumbles incoherently
[TLPD] Oh, don't tell me..Blitzed again?
[Grunter] Mmhmm.
[TLPD] Dammit Loque, we talked about this! You're going to end up demoted..
[Loque] /Rises unsteadily Awright, awright, I'm goin'...Dwagonsh..Hic!
Grunter] Ooooh, no, you can barely walk. I'm takin' you home. /glances at TLPD
[TLPD] /nods, then stares at Loque with a disapproving look.
[Loque] Nah man, I'm good to shpawn, really..C'mon guysh, lemme go..
[Grunter] /hefts Loque onto his back Nope, you're goin' home.
Loque'nahak struggles, but soon falls asleep. Grunter heads home himself, soon after.

Humar's home, Liontusk blvd, 8:27
Humar walks through the door, goes to hug his wife.

[Dishu] How was your day, honey?
[Humar] Quiet. Noone came, think I just missed someone though..Have that feeling. Anything happen today?
[Dishu] *In an exasperated tone* The usual, kittens fighting.
[Humar] /Sigh. Mirsue, Darmesh, get out here.
The kittens come slowly, clearly aware they're in trouble. Mirsue is a black leopard, almost identical to her mother except in color. Darmesh takes after his father, unless you look closely, and see the nearly invisible spots.

[Humar] Why can't you two just get along?
[Darmesh] 'Cause she's dumb!
[Mirsue] Because he's always mean to me!
Their back-and-forth quickly devolves into a shouting match.
[Darmesh] WELL YOU'RE JUST A BIG, UGLY-
[Humar] Enough! Both of you, bed. It's late anyway. /sighs
Humar gets his newspaper and reading glasses, and settles down in his chair. Dishu sits across from him.
[Dishu] They'll grow out of it eventually, you know.
[Humar] /pauses, turns page before responding I know, I know. Knowing that doesn't make it go any quicker, though.
Dishu nods, and sits contentedly for a few minutes.
[Dishu] I'm going to bed. Coming?
[Humar] Yes, in a bit.

Hee! I love this concept! *tries terribly hard not to coo over the kittens* Was good to see the addition of the Sewer Beast too! Poor lil' guy...

I get the feeling Arcturis sits in a corner by himself with a mug of mulled spirit honey.

No he never popped. Around 1:30ish server time I logged for the night, with no sight of him.

I'll keep trying later on though.
