I am sure all of us have seen the silithid dragonfly once, but I have never seen any thing about it, so I figured it would be okay for me to post pictures, seeing as I am a Silithid lover, I don't want to repeat things, but me and Mr. Haarka got.. *whispering tone* a 'little' ''bromance'' going on..

A larva maybe as a mini non-combat pet, that would be too cute! Oh god. No! Masculinity.. diminishing.. must.. wear.. equip..manpurse.. for recharge

These are already in the game I think. If you look on the walls of the silithid hive caves there are creatures like these holding lamp-like things. Would be cool tho.

I tried to restrain my geekiness, but I can't. Not a dragonfly! Closest analog in RL would be a beetle, perhaps a rove beetle. It has wing cases (which are modified wings) and one pair of membranous wings. A dragonfly would have two pairs of membranous wings. There. I feel better now.
That said, very cool looking.

So is it tamable? or will be? Cuz if so I think I got a new fav pet to add to my top 5

The normal, uncolor-shaded-whatever'd version of the larva, which I tbh like the most. Also, I know the size differs in all of the three screenies, seems like the poor lil' sucker just was unable to choose how big it wanted to be x3

Here are various pictures of it, I made the larva myself from scraps. Well. I mean, the thing itself I edited together itself -- oh, and I edited it onto a WoW screenie x)

it looks an AWFUL lot like a wasp to me...
I gots a serious wasp problem outside my own house, and I HATES those things, and this reminds me of them far more than a dragonfly.

dragonflies have two pairs of wings that go out in an X-pattern.
this just has backward sweeping wings.

I would love both as pets, I love any bug the blizzard seems to create heck if you look at my stable's I only have 1 mammal in it

The uncolored larva looked a lot like a gou'uld larva. Maybe I haven't watched Stargate in a while, and don't know what I'm talking about, but....

More bugs ... but no tamable hydralisks yet. Oh well, at least with more slots I'll be able to get a regular-style silithid, the closest thing we can get to a zergling.

I don't really like this dragonfly/elogated beetle.

Hold on - Qraljar - did you create the very nice dragonfly model, or does it exist as a model in the game files (rather than just as set dressing as the firefly lights in Silithid tunnels)? I'd take one like a shot something like that ends up in the game.
