Foods that just don't mix

I got the idea for this topic from first hand experience a couple minutes ago (unfortunately).
What sort of food combos have you tried that didn't 'play nice' with your stomach?

I just found out that cottage cheese followed by a turkey and cheese sandwich dunked in tuscan tomato soup doesn't behave nice twards myself. But it tasted so good... :'(

How about you folks? Any unfortunate food/flavor mishaps?

Orange juice + brushing your teeth = OH GOD THE PAIN.

Since then I have never had orange juice at my breakfast.

Liver pan fried with no oil or seasoning. Took 3 days to air out the house. *blargf* Needless to say I never ate that babysitter's food ever again.

I usually don't have problems like that.
But Brussels sprouts make me wanna puke by the smell!

well if you are ever curious throw some raw liver in a hot pan with nothing else so wate, spices, oil nothing but a hot pan and a slab of liver. It smells like 2 day old roadkill in late july

I would expect that having coffe and pickles together would be bad. For me, anyway. I hate the smell of both, so I can't even bring myself to eat/drink it by itself, let alone together. XD

My brother is famous for taking two respectable foods, mixing them together, and getting something nasty.
For example...
Once he sliced soft cinnamon swirl bread, spread peanut butter on it, and put shredded cheese on that. He didn't like it much, I wonder why?
Another one was when he tried "chocolate Orange Juice" by mixing Nesquik in to Orange Juice. He liked it O.o
Lets see... He put mashed potatoes on a peanut butter cookie.. Liked that, too. I'd rather just have the cookie separate.

There are more, I just can't remember them all.

For me, it would be fresh cherries and any sort of sausage. Not off beat food at all or an odd combo. But I cannot eat either of those, apart, or in the same meal, say, the cherries as a dessert after a meal of grilled sausages with peppers and onions. I just can't eat such food any more. The sausages are too greasy and do horrid things to my system (I do miss my gallbladder, dissenter though it was) and the cherries, well, I once ate one too many of those and ended up sick to my stomach.

I don't know if these are known in the world other than europe but here are two experiments that turned out quite delicious.

We have a chocolate candy over here that is called "Mon Cherie". It's basically a cherry with a dash of hard liquor in a chocolate casing.
Then there is Zaziki [tza'tziːki], a greek yoghurt sauce with cucumber and lots of garlic.
Has been tried on a party as an "I dare you to..." but turned out to be not so bad after all.

We have a kind of spread or parfait made with veal liver. Put that on some bread and add any kind of marmalade that suits your taste. Sounds awful but is so incredibly delicious... Yum!

A sort of Blood Sausage, mixed with Rice, Carrots and a Brown Sauce I found in a pre-mixed package.

I needed to get rid of it! It was about to start rotting!

I had a dinner once of just bacon and Tabasco sauce. It was all I had. I still have the scars.

I like omelettes. I like experimenting with spices. It usually turns out pretty good, and if I give some guests some, they tend to like it too.

Anyhow, black pepper, salt, chili, BBQ, and liquorice didn't turn out so good. Grandma liked it tough...

Ermm...Years and years back i was eatin' lunch, and i decided to put cheese flavoured dorito's in my buttered sandwhich. It might have been because the bits that i ate, when they went down my throat were sharp or because it was the actualy taste (which was weird, because at that time i did also have cheese sandwhiches) but i was nearly sick.

I'm sure all of you remember high school food. I did what was dubed the "junk food line" While in school I mosly lived off Soft pretzles and cheese followed by a chocolate chip cookie. One day I had left over cheese and my cookie fell in it. It got slathered in the nacho cheese and I hadnt eaten in a couple days cuz my dad was used to being a bachlor and had NO food in the house for the weekend while I was home...any who...so I was soo hungery I ate the cookie slathered in Nacho cheese....tasted prity good actually. That day forward any time I had cheese left over I dunked my cookie in it.
