You show that the scarlet tracking hound is changing to a dog. My question is... one of my hunters has the hyena version. when Cataclysm comes out... will my hyena turn into that dog?

I've heard people say it will, I've heard people say it won't I haven't played Beta yet because of my computer being a butt. But I don't know.. I hope not.

I had one in the beta before it changed. I logged out with a hyena; I logged in to a mastiff.
I'm hoping they'll let those with them before cata stay as-is, but... :/

Since the Haarka/Soriid debacle, I think blizz is definitely aware of the pet switching issue. I imagine that they will deal with it somehow during the pet pass, especially if the beta testing hunters get down with the bug reporting.
Hop to it lucky beta testers!

Well in a post they mentioned indeed that he has changed.
Its a mastiff know

I also tamed one and the mastiff got this
redish colour.
But, in Uldum you have the same colour, only its not tamebale yet (see my Grunter post-winny).
So I hope they make him tameable soon, and then we have the colour back

I have one on my dwarf... but from what I've seen so far it seems like hyenas will lose their movement debuff - which was my primary motivation for taking one in the first place (although the scarlet model
is cool looking)... so either way I most likely will be looking for a replacement in cata.
Go go Volcanoth!
