I was lagging so bad while i was fighting him that i thought i would be disconnected and then die. Luckily enough, that did not happen. I went to loot him and much to my surprise, this is what finally showed up.

That is hands-down my favorite mount in the game. Having it given to you as your mount on beta pre-made characters just makes me feel bitter about it, I refuse to even use it. I want it on Rhyela, darn it! Not some gnome warrior named Aleeiowfwel1020.

But grats!!! About how long did it take you to snag that handsome bird?

I don't know exactly how many runs it took me but after i got enough rep to buy the key, i stealthed through the dungeon, killing only the group of birds, the enemies in the bosses room and right outside the room and also the final boss of the dungeon. I kept telling myself that i would be exalted way before i saw the mount drop. When it finally did drop, i was about 3000 rep away from being exalted.

That is insanely awesome. Truly Ravenlord has to be one of the most incredible mounts in game. I once tried to get it on my druid char, as my hunter pretty well completely uses the mechanohog. I just don't have the tenacity to farm these mounts like I used to. Being married has ruined my leet warcraft gig.

Total grats on the snag. Among ground mounts it has no peer.

It took me about a month, but finally got it on my druid recently.
