Beastial Wrath?....Nah hunters dont need this

Im done. I wont start a rant because this there is not enough spaces for words. Im just going to copy and paste the info that was sent to me by my drood buddy and let you guys start the anger. Ill get a link from him asap.
Hunters as a whole, are being concidered as a "Point. Click. Click. Done" class. We want to bring the same well rounded play as the other classes provide to the Hunter class experience. We believe that the Beast Masterery tree should upgrade the damage output of the players pet. However the ability Beastial Wrath is an overpowered ability causeing the stereotype of "Huntard". In other words reaping the benifits of a well rounded skilled player, with none of the work or effort put out by other ranged classes such as Mages.
Our removal of Beastial Wrath will now also add a degree of strategy to PvP or battlegrounds. No longer will hunters send a high DPS pet with immunity to fear and other movement imparing effects to do all the work for them. Now Hunters will have a variety of new abilities in order to be more interactive with their pets. The new Move To ability is one of the new upgrades we are adding to hunters to make them more effective.
We know many players who chose Hunters will be upset with this ability remved, but we believe this will lead to a more enriching gaming experience.

I've heard nothing of this, would your friend have the source? I'm not inclined to believe it truthfully.

I call hoax. This talent is integral to BM hunter mechanics. Not only that, they haven't implemented a new beta patch yet (I just read somewhere that it'll be another few days at least since they're trying to raise the beta level cap to 85) and
wowhead's cata talent calculators show it there.

They better not remove it. I'm pretty sure that the ability to tell our pet where to move isn't even remotely enough to make up for the lack of BW.
I'm hoping this isnt true, I'll be waiting for a source.

according to the latest MMO champion calculaters its still in so your friend is false they are only changing The Beast within to not apply immunity to CC and they want to leave in the "fun" talents and BW is very fun so i doubt they are gonna remove it

I really don't think this is going to happen. I would need a good source and there isn't one.

I checked the Cataclysm beta forums, and the last post from a Blue in the Hunter class thread was on August 13. Nothing since then, and not a single mention in either the Class Forum or the General Forum of this purported change.
I think someone's having you on, personally.

Aye, until some real sources are posted I won't believe this.
Now, if it's true, it wouldn't really affect me, but I can see how it would be a bit sad to lose the big, red pets. BRK would have to change name too, to Little Normal-Coloured Kitty.

Yeah I'm calling it a fib. It wouldn't be the Beast Master tree without the BW talent. If anything they may change it a little but not remove it.
If there is any truth to this then I'm sure there's going to be some serious disgruntled players who will no longer be playing.

At this point in time, we feel that right-clicking is more problematic than practical. Gameplay in combat has, for many classes, degenerated into running up to the target and hitting right-click once and then watching the character pummel the target mercilessly. Currently, players do not have to invest any more energy to attack a target than simply hitting right-click once. More experienced players have even found talent specs and ability "rotations" to make the right-click attack far more potent. We feel that for such a powerful ability, the player should be more invested in the attacking process. In our endeavors to provide a more immersive, complex, and fun gameplay experience, we will be removing right-click functionality from the game. We will also be taking a long look at the in-game chat function, as we are concerned with people being able to interact with others a little too easily.

*laughs too hard* Fantastic!
As for the OP, I'm with those who don't believe it's legit until it can be shown to come from a real source. There's no reason for them to take away BW - especially since they took away the whole immunity part a couple builds back.
Also.. Mages? Really? They're comparing Hunters to Mages? As a 80 Frost mage I top the meters with Frostbolt spam and an occasional Frostfire Bolt - if I'm feeling really active, I'll throw in Ice Lances whenever they'll get the triple damage bonus. Compare that to a Hunter's "Mark, keep sting up, use up your shot cooldowns etc." :P
Yep, definitely a hoax.

The writing doesn't sound like Blizz. I call BS on this one. It sounds like the writing of hunter-haters.
If it is true, yeah, I'm done. Anyone wanna buy 100,000 gold?..

There are classes that are even more simplistic that hunters, so I call BS on the OP's post.
Try again.

No actually I'm not joking. Really.
I don't read /follow the WoW forums at all. So it would be nice to see the thread or where the the information was in it's entirety.
