Uh huh... maybe. But it could also mean... it is still pretty far off considering they need to still implement Uldum and Twilight Headlands or whatever...ross1117 wrote:So guys blizz has stated that there is a big patch coming this week well next week maybe its the hunter pets turn
http://blue.mmo-champion.com/t/26560839 ... tch-today/We do not plan to patch today, though we plan to have a great deal of new content in the upcoming patch. You'll get access to new zones and dungeons, and potentially an increase in level cap to 85.
I'll check in on the issue with goblins. I know it's a high priority and I'd like to play mine again as well -- which should make very high priority. ;p
They can't put off the pets for too much longer, though. If they say they're wanting to work on classes, and two of the classes heavily involve pets...they can't fix much until they know what the pet pass will do. For hunters, warlocks, and unholy DKs, pets are extremely critical. It wouldn't be very good for them to have made all these promises about all hunter specs being close enough to each other to be viable in PvP and PvE, and they rush through the pet pass close to release to suddenly find to their horror that the pet changes make BM even worse than before. That...would not go over well, methinks.Vephriel wrote:I still think hunter pets are going to be among the bottom rung of their priority list right now, so don't hold your breath just yet.I know we're all excited to see potential news, but when you think about how many other important mechanics and game content they have to complete first, pets don't seem too critical.
Mm, very true. Good points. Well, we can hope we'll see something soonish. ^^Tahlian wrote:They can't put off the pets for too much longer, though. They certainly can put it off. The new focus system, new talents, and simplified trees make it easy for them to tweak each individual build faster and quicker than before. It would not be difficult, unlike currently, for them to simply not do anything with pets until the last second or *not* at all.Tahlian wrote:They can't put off the pets for too much longer, though.Vephriel wrote:I still think hunter pets are going to be among the bottom rung of their priority list right now, so don't hold your breath just yet.I know we're all excited to see potential news, but when you think about how many other important mechanics and game content they have to complete first, pets don't seem too critical.
