Wondering though I'm sure it varies server to server; any Loque hot spots, where you most likely have seen em'.

On my first hunt three were near gorillas Skyreach & only spent 4hrs each, 8hrs total *yes I abandoned em' like a goob the first time*.

On my 2nd hunt however I spent twenty hours circling around foolishly instead of parking in one spot so I'm certain I missed him somewhere, & finally in the evening found a corpse below Nesingwary, guildie said "I see em' often here", so here I am parked at Nesingwary.

Also saw several posts that said something to the extent of:
- spawns at x:00-:10, x:30-40; x being the hour of course.
- 3-6hrs after King Krush is killed Loque' usually spawns
- Loque is on an 8-10hr spawn time

So top of the hour, 10, 30, & 40 after I'm checking the south west spot near Nesingwary along with my own.

A little irritated that I'm having such a hard time finding him, but I'm sure if I just stick to one spot, as many folks are circling the east side often, I'll eventually see him...here's for hopin' though..

hehe also 9x out of 10 I'm browsin' these forums & the ringer goes off so, we'll see. ^_^

As far as I know, NONE of the 3 Sholazar rares have any relation to each others' spawn times.

Case in point, when we were helping one guildie camp for Loque, we found Aotona and Krush within the same hour. Loque never showed at all.

As for WHERE...the one time I found him it was just below Nesingwary, but I hear a lot of people mention the Gorilla spots too as a potential hot spot.

I've seen Loque 3 times at the spawnpoint in the west by the large bones/skeleton, including the time I tamed him. I've also heard that the gorilla areas are popular, so those would be my picks. It probably varies for everyone though.

And yeah, the rares don't have any correlation to each other. Krush and Loque were up at the same time once, and as Vel said we've seen them all spawn very soon after each other. I think each are just on their own separate timers and happen to overlap at times.

Yeah times are variable, I have read about the theory that there are always 3-4 rares up at a time, so respawns can take longer if rares stay up longer (spawn in more barren zones) before it completely cycles through the lot.

I got my Loque by the monkeys. I like that area to camp because there are non-aggro mobs there (the white ones at least) and both spawn points are relatively close together.

What would be a good thing is if you can get 2 different chars to camp it (friends or other account) keep one by the monkeys and the other go fly around more to check.

Also wake yourself up at 3 or 4 am and do some flyovers. Loque is just as likely to spawn then, thing is the population will be alot thinner to heighten your chances

I also got Loque by the gorillas.. but I second the wakeup time to look. I found my Loque early in the morning. I normally get up at 4:45am for work and I would check every day. Found him on the 2nd day this way. I did a fly by at all the spawn points.

One of my hunters found him next to a titanium vein (in the area of the bones/birds, on a sort of empty shelf there). I got my pet, and got some titanium. Find minerals ftw!

I found Loque at the far north point and by the apes in the east.

I don't have any friends on SWC so it's just me; yes I'm in a guild but I dislike bothering folks to come be bored with me while I sit in one spot waiting on Loque'; there is a guildie that skins around here & said they'd let me know if they saw him, so thankful for that. Someone mentioned he was killed at western skyreach pillar 3hrs ago, I'm still hangin' at Nesingwary & checking western bones at the times posted. Nothin' yet, & got SWP at 8p so I hope I see him where I'm at.

Really anxious to get him since he's my last pet here, but kinda bummed I keep missing him, & the boring wait doesn't help either heh, I'm expecting to be up all night the next three evenings waiting on him as well. 'hruumppff'

Sadly, I've never seen Loque in the wild. Right now I'm not even setting foot in the basin if I can avoid it, cause I have no pet to abandon for him. I'd be crying if I found him before the stable expansion.

Maintenance vs restart, still 'resets' timer on mobs or the timer continues?

People have reported maintainance 'resets' a lot, but I dunno how accurate those reports are; it seems to vary.

Also, why don't you try reading a book or playing a game or something while you wait? If I'm with guildies I like chatting with them on a camp, but if I'm alone I usually just park my char near the site I've chosen and crack a book open. Every 15 minutes or so when you go to move your character so you don't auto-log, just take a quick spin around to other spawn points.

If you're using NPCscan (or Silverdragon too I think) it should alert you when he spawns, and you won't bore yourself out of your mind waiting.

I saw Loque twice by the south monkey spawn points(same place as where King Krush spawns. I saw him once there too) but I tamed him at the north monkey spawn point.

He just spawned for me in about 03:30, although someone NINJA'D him from me -.-
