Pet Coming Out At 1/2 Health?

Does anyone else have this issue, or have any idea wtf is up with it? Half the time when I res in a bg (from spirit healer) or dismount, my pet is at half HP or lower, even if he was full health beforehand. It's pretty infuriating as BM to have half a pet :(

Oh my God this is annoying!!! Specially if they use the lick your wounds ability, and them two seconds later getting their hp restored because of the bug "fixing" itself.

So many times my pets have wasted their Cooldowns on this :-(

I get it too, and have had this problem for a while now. :(

Ugh I hate when my pet does that in BGs. I dismount and she's at half health and pops her Lick Your Wounds when she doesn't need to. Then later on some jerk goes after the source of being constantly slowed (my poor Hyena) and lo and behold... LYW is still on cooldown when it's actually needed! I've just been turning it off lately until I see people running at me (or I go after someone). :/

I have this problem a lot too when I dismount. Usually I have to sit there for a second until my pets hp pops back to full. But if i'm pvp'ing and I dismount to shoot someone, the second I enter combat my pets health is stuck at halfway and dosen't heal. Such a pain! Best thing to do is keep pet on passive and turn off lickwounds if you're pvping. In pve, just wait for it to heal before you enter combat.

It stays at half, or even well under (1/3, maybe before my hp contribution is taken into account?) quite often, regardless of combat, for me :(

It's not a new bug. Most of the time it rights itself in less then a second, but I've found that dismounting/summoning after entering combat sometimes bugs it out so that it doesn't go back up. Damn annoying. :|

I have noticed that it sorta comes and goes... Perhaps it's tied with some other code Blizz fiddles with? Either way, I have noticed it more lately. It's not that big a deal for what I do - I'll just spam mend pet and a bandage, and we'll usually both live. Not in pvp of course, but 1) I don't pvp much and 2) in pvp, I die. A lot. I wouldn't know the difference. ;)

I haven't had this problem with any of my hunters, however my Warlock ALWAYS dismounts to a demon pet that is at less than half HP.

For some reason I cannot remember this glitch happening back when I was still leveling. Is it selective memory, and its always been around, or did it start because of some patch or tweak blizz applied to pets? I know this glitch has been happening for awhile, but for how far back I can't recall.

Hmm... I seem to recall noticing it a bit back in late TBC, perhaps? And then nothing for a good while. I could be wrong though.

I see it both in questing and BG's.. Think it is just more noticable in the bg's as you are going into combat most of the time directly from a dismount and the pet does not seem to go to full health once in combat. Ive gotten to the point I put on mend pet as soon as I can from a dismount in the bg's. For questing. I usually dismount in a somewhat safe place before I go for mobs, and in that short span, the pet goes to full health. I don't have lick your wounds assigned to my pet.

Same here. It's not so much of a problem when my 'lock's playing with her beloved voidwalker, but when she has her felguard out it's just a pain in the ass.

I haven't had this problem so much with my Hunter -- ususally when it does happen, it's right after I dismount and only lasts a second or two. It's still annoying when it does happen though.

Yeah, this is a pain in the butt. It's even worse when I get attacked while mounted, because as a general rule I keep my pets on defensive. My pet will immediately go rocketing in to my rescue and grab aggro from mobs, but he gets beat on very quickly 'cause he's already at half health. So annoying!

Usually I can deal with it easy enough with a bandage or Mend Pet, but sometimes it's just inconvenient.
