I get this thought every now and then when I leave home... "Thank goodness I have my Hearthstone!"

One time I went to the bookstore with a bookstore membership and a gift card. When I went to make my purchases, I asked the woman at the counter if the card stacked with the membership.

She looked at me like I had six heads.

I'm at work, plugging numbers into the new inventory database/program/nightmare and I see my supervisor walking in my direction with another stack of papers. I found myself hitting the key I have feign death set to.

It was resisted.

I'm in PE and it was my turn to race against five other people in 100meter sprint. As the teachers blows the whistle we all raise up and start running, halfway through it a lift my arms up and make a cheetah noise and win the race...

Haha, oh man it's sad how many times these things happen to me. xD

One time when we were on a long road trip, we hit a lengthy stretch of straight road. I said "Why don't you just hit Num Lock for a bit." ..... I was fully meaning 'cruise control', but num lock (auto run) slipped out instead. xD


And since I live in the prairies, there are often places that have slight rolling hills beside the road. More than once I've found myself looking over fully expecting to see a herd of Kodos walk by, it looks like they would fit in perfectly.

At an hockey game. As they start up the speakers, I try to reach for my headsets volume control.

I was staying at my grandma's house for a long period of time before I came back home (she has a computer, but it doesn't have WoW installed. Sad times). On the drive home, my step-dad was saying something to my mom and I was barely paying attention with my usual staring out the window. Suddenly I hear the word "Thrall" pop up and I whip my head around and say "What about Thrall?!"

They looked at me like I was insane (mind you, they play WoW as well, so it wasn't because it was a foreign word to them).
My step-dad had said "throw", not "Thrall".

They said I was having WoW withdrawls.

One of my co-workers is in the same guild I am. He plays a pally. One day the regional manager came in to do the usual rounds. When we heard he was there I looked at him and asked if he wanted to roll for tank. He said "I'd rather heal since your Dk tank has a better gearscore."

You know you've played too much when you get slapped by a Walmart employee for asking to "browse her goods".

Lol I know what you mean. I've had a few of those myself in the past. The one that's most recent is me having a slip of the tongue while talking with my mom one morning. I asked her "Do we have the mats to make a cheese and bell pepper omelette?".. She gave me the strangest look and then I realised what I had said. lol xD

I've read this in someone's forum sig somewhere else:

...even more so when someone else rolls on them.

Lol, I have another one to add just now. xD

My boyfriend and I were just out running a few errands, and we drive by one of those big signs that stores put out near the side of the road (the black ones where you can fit in the letters).

Anyways, the sign had mostly blue letters, but the middle line was pink. My boyfriend looks over and says to me "Wow...for a second I thought that was a whisper to me." Just the pink sentence in between the other ones stood out like that. xD

My kids are in their mid 20's now but if they were still young, like 10 or under, I'd make cardboard cutouts of the Hunter's mark and make them wear them above their heads when we went to Walmart so they couldn't get lost.

hm, i should do that for my partner. he's forever vanishing on me when we're out shopping

On the phone a couple months ago arguing with someone and my wife (who also plays) yelled for me to help her in the kitchen. Without thinking I told her to wait, "on the phone, boss fight" to which she replied "Just feign and come here and open this for me!" Apparently she imagined that we have phones in WoW.

I always figure it's time to put the WoW down for a while when I start dreaming about playing WoW.

Many, many times, I have thought to myself, "No problem! My spouse can drop me off and work and keep the car, and I'll just hearth back.......waitaminute."

And it always saddens me when I realize I can't hearth back, so I have to drive anyway.
