nice, so it was garrosh that killed cairne afterall. prick. there must be more too it than his though, because i can't see the tauren sticking around with the horde if it was as clear cut as that
i look forward to listening to the other race intros too...
also, does anyone know who the narrator is?

Weeeeeell, they mentioned that Cairne and Garrosh dueled, but it's believed that Magrtha Grimtotem had him poisoned as he lay weak and recovering, so that she could usurp his throne for her own ends. Read it via Wow.com.

Heh, funny thing about that. I used to be
certain that Tony Jay was the one who voiced the intros. His voice is so recognizable, and I never had any doubts that it was him.
However, I learned that it's actually a man named Earl Boen that has done all of them. He also voices King Terenas and Magtheridon.

There is something completely familiar about his voice, I wonder where I've heard it before. imdb.com time!

Though I don't really know anything by Earl Boen, Tony Jay is easily recognized for roles such as Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Megabyte from Reboot.

Megabyte!! Gotta love me some low-sounding bad guys. I'm really pleased that they've decided to update all the intros. Somehow, Blood Elves trying to find another source of power and restoring the Sunwell just seems not right anymore.
