I just saw all the posts concerning the new seagull that we can tame, but I thought to my self; didn't I see something else that had a similar model? Turns out I did, we might be actually getting real ravens now, dunno where they'd put them, but maybe they'll replace the ones in the Howling Fjord or the ones in Blades edge, but I should stop talking and get linking no?

I gotta admit having a raven pet with a worgen hunter would be pretty awesome.

I still wonder if the gull is an accident that they'll fix, though. Seagulls aren't really built for attack. Other scavengers like vultures at least have decent talons. I hope they keep it. While it's a bit comical and silly, it's not absurdly so.

the gull and raven both look like critters to me, and as much as i want to keep the tameable seagulls, i'm not getting my hopes up too high just yet, this is still a pretty rough beta afterall

I have seen the ravens ingame a while ago. As far as I remember, they were critters.
And I think it was in Stonetalon Mountains I saw them.
Gonna have to go check now.

I just went there, and they are critters.. I really hope they change those to beasts though. That would be beyond awesome.



The place they're located, is in the Farwatcher's Glen, in Stonetalon Mountains, if you want to go look at them.
There's a lot of them, as you can see on the picture. They're all over the place.

You know, it would be fun if there was an extra pet family for just gimmick pets. They could attack a little in combat but not really contribute as heavily as a serious pet, but they'd be amusing or cool to have in your stable. More like a hunter extension of vanity pets. Other beasts like the baby bears, and maybe even critters could be in this category too.

That raven looks awesome. I hope they do become beasts so we can tame them. It's just like the photo of that raven I showed, and definitely the ravens I saw on my vacation.
