Ok I know this might not belong here ... but flame me?
OK! So I wanna rename my little hunter Kairii ... Mainly has her name is just to odd for me. I normaly have names that suit the class or race.
Like druids called Kittysawrus (use to be feral xD) Treebelicios (name says it all)
I do have a alt shammy called Shambelicios, UD mage called Nasakenai (which means shamful etc.)
Kairii use to be Koroo ... but I don't know I just can't find a fitting name for her :(
And there are very creative people on here good of thinking of names :( so I ask for your help to name my little hunter :(
It can be Lore-ish or silly all ideas are welcomed and loved :3

Cindy! :P

Hmm... By lore name, you mean like a belf name? WoWWiki has a list of sorts, and if you just want something that sounds Thalassian you can pick a word from the parsers list.

Blood Elf manual (meaning not automated) name generator:

<start>[optional:soft consonant group]
+[high vowel]
+[preferred:soft consonant group]or[high vowel]or[low vowel]or[hard consonant group]
+([high vowel]or[low vowel]
+[optional: soft consonant group]
+[optional: high vowel]+[optional: low vowel]
+[optional: hard consonant group])<repeatable>
+[high vowel]or[low vowel]
+[optional: soft consonant group]
+[optional: high vowel]<name end>

where:

high vowels = a, e, i, y
low vowels = o, u, w

soft consonant groups = ll, sh, qu, th, ch (as in charm), n, m, l, h
hard consonant groups = kr, sk, tr, ch (as in character), k, r, t

using this we get (example):

Chyralle

ch (as in charm, soft consonant) + y (high vowel) + r (hard consonant) + <a (high vowel) + ll (soft consonant)> + e (high vowel)

Note: I just made that up. No warranties given on outcome. :D

You can also use the in-game language generators if you've got a non-blood elf friend on, too. Just switch your language to Thallasian, and start spamming words or traits that fit your character. Your friends can translate what you said for you by repeating whatever language stuff you just said for you. We use this ALL the time in Petopians to name pets, but it could work for characters too. :)
