Personally, If they have done the finishing touches to the forms, I'm still a little dissapointed with the difference of work shown between the to versions....



Not that it shows when you look at the edges of the mane.... Helloooooo pixel land!....Just saying..

But seriously, does it amuse anyone else that there are no "normal" tigers amongst the troll kitties? I mean, come on, they were supposedly hiding out in that form for six years; why not?

Ugh. I am not that fond of the "Rave Kitty" coloring. >_< Come on, Blizzard, fix those colors just a bit, please! They don't even make sense! They don't match troll skin colors or animal fur! Or hair colors! Nothing!

I always kind of liked the Durotar Tiger coloured fan art, there's just somthing about it that appealed to me.

Maybe its the background, but the green and blue troll bear forms look less neon in color then before.

I like the trayola colors of the troll forms myself... makes them so vibrant... heh.

The Troll colours are a bit excessive but I can live with that, but what really, really annoys me in that it comes off as a big "screw you" is the dramatic texture resolution between the Worgen and Trolls. How can Blizzard put the two races side by side and announce it as "hey look at this it's cool!" and think it's all ok?

The Worgen look great, with smooth textures, lots of detail, new features, while the Trolls are pixelated, garish and clearly have no thought put into them at all, instead relying on some extremely rote sense of what Trolls "are". I'm extremely disappointed in the devs for this, they totally dropped the ball in every conceivable way for Troll players.

More awake now to look closely, I have to agree. Really, give the trolls some love, Blizzard! Tons of people adore them!

I wouldn't mind brightly colored hair/manes, but the coat colors are just...bleh to me. They don't make sense, too off/weird. I wouldn't mind if the fur was orange, white, or black with the vivid hair colors, but the combo of "neon" hair AND fur? I really do not care for.

I was planning on race changing my tauren over, but after this, I might not. I can probably get used to the colors. After all, I did learn to deal with the original tauren cat form for a long time.

What I really want, is more of a choice on boomkin forms. Kitty and bear got some seriously awesome fixing. Tree is supposedly getting some changes done to its form to set it apart from the treant form. Boomkin needs love and racial differentiation. Hell, scrap the whole "form" business and go with caster form for it too. OR, do what you SHOULD have done from the beginning and make it a "stag" form so that it stays with the whole druidic "animal" aspect.

I have no real issue with the coat colours (but I'm a sucker for bright, vibrant and garish colours ), but the testures? Just sub par in comparison. Maybe this is supposed to match up with the trolls naturally having a lower resolution to worgen? If so, that's a lame ass excuse.

I've loved the Troll forms from day one, and that hasn't changed at all. :3 I really enjoy the bright colours they used since they seem so reminiscent of tiki/voodoo artwork like Shag:





I'm a big fan of that stylization, and since Trolls have always been so colourful and had this wicked voodoo theme going on, I really love what they did with the forms.

That's very likely part of it. But Worgen got completely new forms, Trolls get recolours with tusks and mohawks. I simply cannot express enough how much of a big middle finger this comes off as from the devs to potential Troll Druid players.

Veph, I can agree with you on the colours for the most part (though I do think they're a bit overboard) but they didn't actually get new forms. Worgen got new forms, completely, Trolls did not. It's pretty obvious that Troll Druid forms were an afterthought and the effort went to the Worgen.

I know Trolls didn't get completely new forms, but I suppose I'm just happy with them regardless so it's not an issue for me.

I can agree with that. Ultimately, I do love the troll druid forms thus far and I will definately be rolling one in the future (probably red haired XD)

But... yeah, still would love to see them on-par with the worgen in texture.. Which is kinda like wanting my cake and eating too I suppose. They're no worse textured than the druid forms for Tauren and Night Elves, and I like them just fine.
One thing I cannot stand though... The little tassles on the troll cat form have these little points on them. And they're the same colour as their fur. It just looks really horrible, like the tassle is still half done. -.-

My complaining is done!

Do want to see me some moonkin and flight forms. Add another vote for troll flight form being a bat XD

Hehe, yeah I definitely understand wanting better textures. That would be the icing on the cake, but if these are the final forms I really won't complain. ^^

Personally I think the bright colors are a stupid choice purely because people are going to be able to identify them from a mile away.

"Huh, Druid.... I can't tell the colors from this distance... god I hope that's a Tauren since I'm flagged but I don't want to get closer to figure it out."

Ignoring the horrible texture and hoping to god that they just didn't notice for some reason and it'll get fixed before release. /denial

Well, I love the colors. But, I have a fondness for bright, garish things. And trolls are big on bright. The Worgen forms are effing amazing and I wish the Troll forms got that much detailing. But, honestly the pretty bright colors and that fact that it's a Troll will distract me sufficiently.
