I thought I'd prepare for Cataclysm by taming the second most challenging pet; The Beast of UBRS. I tried using the following self buffs;

Potion of Speed
Very Burnt Worg
Hyperspeed Accelerators

3 attempts alone failed. I called in the cavalry with a great friend I knew since BC, and she had a shaman. She comes in, Earth Shields me, and uses Heroism before I attack. First four tries end up with us failing. Fifth attempt glitches, and I get the tame off successfully without interruption, but no tame. Two more attempts, and it kills me both times. Finally, after yelling "FUCK YOU YOU BLOODY DOG" into the mic (no vent was up, no skype, no nothing), it was tamed! I dodged its charge, and bam!


Now, for its spec; did I get it right? Talents up top are Cobra Reflexes 2/2 and Dash 1/1, and it's 75 right now. Planning on putting the last 2 points into Shark Attack, but is that a good idea?

I've actually found that it's just as hard as Krush (or it would be, if he was more common). One one hand, it does lower damage, but on the other, if you're grouped, you can run from him for 10 minutes and still be followed. (did it while we waited for heroism). Once your tame's down to 10~ seconds it's the same anyhow. They both have fears and knockbacks, I think. Also, you try finding a shammy willing to be dragged through that place. I got lucky and a guildie did it. XD
