My thoughts exactly! ><; Like I dont mind how well groomed he is and the longer braids but his face....UGH! And since when do tusks SHRINK?!

Anyone else think he's mimicking Akama?

Thing is, he IS kinda old. Especially for an orc. I don't know the average orc life span but he was fighting in the arena and leading his people out of slave camps when Arthas was a kid.

He's also possibly the most powerful Shaman on the planet.

People have been complaining for years he's in lvl 30 greens.

He stepped away from leading the horde and is embracing that lead Shaman role so he looks more shamanistc/healer/elder type.

Granted that's a bad picture (( why pink overlay?)) I've seen some on MMO and he looks pretty good.

Actually he's not that old. He's around Varians age or maybe a bit younger even (personal opinion). And I believe Garrosh is actually older than Thrall as odd as that may seem since Hellscream is alot older than Thrall and already had a child since Thrall was born on Azeroth after the opening of the Dark Portal.

Just my personal opinion on the matter.

But if humans live to their mid 70s and Orcs only live to their 30s or 40s. He might be old for an Orc.



Though I'm not 100% sure on the life span of the races. I always thought orcs matured faster and had shorter life spans.

lol I know they're that way in Shadowrun. And yes I know they're not related, but for some reason I got the impression the same was true for Wow.

Anyone confirm?

Checked it out about lifespans on wowwiki.

The Wow orcs reach adulthood around the 18-20 and are middle aged in 40. Had to see it myself since I know the ages are different depending on what fantasy setting you look at.

Yeah, Thrall's barely of middle age. So he shouldn't look like he's mimicking Akama.

(I could so see him doing that in ASV though! XD)

Considering the Cataclysm, that'd be enough to make anyone age ten years. And being such a powerful shaman, he might have been harmed/aged by what Deathwing did.

I actually kind of like his new look. It sort of fits his personality to me. It's definitely a change, but he's been 'ruling' the Horde for a long time now, and rumor has it, Cata is 10 years "down" the line so he's getting older and heavy is the crown as they say.

I kinda doubt he was 'harmed' by Deathwing, otherwise we would've known about it by now.

I'm sorry but aging or not, tusks do NOT shrink and faces don't grow in length. If he had 'aged', he'd have grey hair like Saurfang and have just a bit more elder looking face(not a long face).

I agree with Quin, I like it. It looks to me like a WoW world leader withdrawing from the limelight... He looks worn and exhausted, like he wanted to retire but there's still more work for him.

And I don't know about anyone else, but I totally want a hoodie for my toon!!
