On cata.wowhead is listed a beast called, simply, "Brown Wolf".

It's a worg model. It uses the skin "DireWolfSkinBrown", which is currently only used by the untameable Tito during the opera event in Karazhan.

Has anyone seen it? If it's tameable then it's a new skin to add.


EDIT: the skin has many similarities to the one used by the Ember Worg and Barnabus (DireWolfSkinReddishBrown), but it is different. Follow the links to compare the Ember Worg skin with the Brown Wolf skin. Turn the models to the side to appreciate it fully.

Ohey. I didn't know Tito's skin was unique. I always thought he looked like an Ember Worg, but I guess it's hard to tell when you're busy killing bosses. D:

Not only Tito. You can find that very pretty worg in several other places, including Burning Steppes, where it's called an "Ember Worg".

No, he's right. Tito's skin IS unique. The difference is slight, but it's there. Pull up two tabs of WoWhead and compare both in 3D. Tito has yellow eyes and a slightly duller coat, and the Ember Worgs have green eyes and are brighter.

Is it in the color? Because I'm looking between the two, and it's so slight I can't see it. Might be something that needs to be updated on the site, as well, since Tito is listed under the Ember Worg skin.

Indeed they are different, but it is subtle. The Ember Worg, Barnabus and a number of others use the skin DireWolfSkinReddishBrown.

Follow the links to compare the Ember Worg skin with the Brown Wolf skin.

Flip both models to the side and you can really tell the difference. The lighter color takes up most of his front side so it's harder to tell. when all you see is the color from the side it's VERY noticeable.

Yeah, Petopia seems to be wrong about that one.

It looks like an easy mistake to make. After all, the mob only spawns during a boss fight in a raid. And nowadays people kill Dorothy so hard, Tito won't even spawn at all. Not exactly easy to see the difference, either.

I KNEW TITO WAS UNIQUE!!!! Sorry, just (finally) won a bet with myself.

I don't think I could give up OCJ-Hector now, but this skin had been in contention for ages.

Would love to hear if it's in game!

(This reminds me of the orange hyena difference, which was truly hard to tell.)

Yeah, I saw that one in the model viewer.. i was like awe...! Blue eyes <3

I really wanted that one for Hector (with Tito's as a secondary choice), but settled on OCJ when neither seemed to exist. :/

Isn't the brown skin on the worg puppy the same brown skin as the brown worgs in LBRS? I could have sworn it was...

The Hyena skin on the left is just a liiiiiittle bit brighter orange than the one on the left. But it's barely noticeable. Much, much, MUCH less so than the Ember Worg / Tito skins.
