Has any horde tamed this pet in the beta? I'm asking because it is in Gilneas and.. well.. I haven't heard of any horde going in there yet.

Isn't there a rare spawn with that skin in Loch Modan?

Either way, I'm certain there'll be a way for Horde to tame the skin.

Petopia has Ashtail as a darker blue-toned skin.. I'm not sure if its changed since that was posted.. so.. *shrug*

Hopefully there will be a way.. I think its probably the only fox I'd be interested in, but of course that is all subject to change as soon as i see them in game hehe.

Oh I don't know, I was going by memory... Well, I'm sure there'll be a way.

I was reading on wow.com that race-changing to a worgen required you to go drown you character in Gilneas so that you'd end up phasing with the starting quests - otherwise you'd never get your worgen form... Perhaps we'll see something similar happening for hunters wanting pets in phased areas. A new twist on the ghost run, eh?

Yup, horde chars can tame these. Just run right into the worgen area, and these are walking around near the entrance. Tamed one on my troll hunter, then again on my low level tauren hunter :3

Anyone else really dilike the fox eyes? Fox have warm, curious eyes in real life, not the cold blank animal stare that WoW fox seem to posess.

Ugh, I can't see myself taming one of these.

I guess I can see that, though I can't think of a WoW Pet with eyes that aren't cold and blank. Perhaps its the angle? I remember seeing a fox from the front and it looked kinda playful.

Their eyes might be warm and curious, but they will still come after your children and small pets if they are hungry.

And sick foxes will even chase adults... it isn't fun.

Yeah I agree, real foxes are anything but cute and warm. Seriously, I've witnessed the carnage a city fox can wreak... Tod is a complete myth.

Yes the highland foxes can be tamed by horde, I've got one on my Forsaken hunter

Thats Ashtail shes a new rare a few patchs ago she got her dragon

Has anyone seen a video of a hunter running around with a fox pet? Just wondering.

and may I just say that is a perfect name for a forsaken hunter.
