I'm trying to get Loque'nahak, and i wont stop until i find him and tame him. he is such a beautiful animal in the game, such a unique oar, and soon he will be mine! If you guys had the time, do you think you guys would spend hours on end hunting for Loque to tame him as your own?

I spent a year looking for him on a heavily populated server, where if there weren't at LEAST five other hunters alliance side hunting him, then there were fifteen other farmers farming rares/collecting in the area. That being said, I love Loque. Very much. It was worth the frustration to me.

Loque is worth EVERY MINUTE. I love my Haka

Just as Palladiamorsdeus I have spent over a year getting him, with on and off camping scaling to about 6 days playtime in total

He is very much worth it! I have not regret camping him one second!

Yes he is! I love that spirit beast. His roar is so bad ass.

I found Loque in a day. I no longer have Loque, because I only got him because he was shiny. He didn't click. I had the same issue with Skoll, and Aotona.

HOWEVER, if you like him, go for him. Don't give up.

Ditto here. I enjoyed him while I had him, but I had more fun doing the actual camp than owning him afterwards. If you truly want him then of course go for it.

I didn't try to find Loque, in fact, I hated his model. However, he managed to find his way into my stables while I was camping Aotona. I had him for a little while and fell in love, and I will get him back as soon as we have bigger stables. He is definitely worth it if you love him

The answer is a completely subjective one. To me, he is the best looking model in the game and I did spend allot of time camping and searching for him. If you are willing to put the time/effort into looking for him, go for it. If you don't care much for him and have better things to accomplish in and out of the game, don't.

im defiantly gonna keep at it, i have spent quite a few hours every day camping for him the past 2 weeks, giving up now would just be wasting time, and he is such a beautiful thing to give up on.

1st hunter: Loque first tame 4hrs of looking at Skyreach Pillar... 2nd tame cause I unwisely abandoned him, another 4hrs & again at Skyreach Pillar

2nd hunter: Loque took 44hrs, 20hrs straight spawned before raid last week of Aug. as I was browsing Petopia Forums which usually happens when I'm waiting on a rare tame, & where a guildie mentioned; so win/win.

If you want it bad enough by all means go for it...

Very much this. Some love him, some hate him, some are neutral, and some just love the hunt. Until you have him, you don't know for certain if you're going to keep him. Either way, you can always be very proud of managing to tame such a rare beastie.

Well veg, you obviously know my story. Moonguard was impossible to get him cause he was killed within the instant he spawned EVERY time so I went to Farstriders to get him(which is where I helped you move to temporarily) but it still took me 3 days of nonstop camping.

Loque was worth every tear I spent on him. Totally. All 5 weeks of raeg.

I spent about 5 months of pretty casual farming. Now he's mine and I love him more than I ever loved any of my pets. He was well worth it, and I think the long wait made him even more special for me. And if you're a gatherer (especially herbalist) you can even profit while circling around the place.
And his roar is something!

I've tamed Loque about 6 times since I got my hunter to 80, roughly 3 months after wrath hit. All six times, I only had it for about a day before ditching it. Same with Gondria, never bothered for Skoll. Loque was cool and all, but EVERY BM hunter I've seen has it. It's not unique at all anymore. Even Arcturis is common fodder on my server now. It's sad because you'd think a RARE pet would be rare, but half a dozen in just a day with it? That's not rare at all!

Still, if you like how it looks, sounds, and feels at your hunter's side, work for it. I tried for hours for my corehound (The Beast), despite it having a generic skin. I camped for days for Aotona. I worked for half an hour on the Oil Stained Wolf. I got crazy lucky and found Arcturis day one. If you have it in you to set a goal, no matter how trivial, you will get it.

By the end, I spend most of my waking day camping for Zephiel, my Loque, and I was going though emotional hell because of it. Had he not appeared when he did, I'm pretty sure I would have gotten much, much worse. Was he worth that anguish? At the time of taming, I thought he was, btu looking back in it now, no. I was not in a good place back then. I still love my laser/healzor kitty very much and he has a special place in my heart, I just wish I was a little les frenzied at the time and took it a litte more casually.

So, my advice is yes, keep going with your search if you want him a lot. But be careful. If you think you're getting too worried over him appearing or not, step back from the computer for a day or two. Your health and wellbeing > a mass of polygons. So long as you keep searching, you will find him. I guarantee it.

It's subjective. Personally, I hate his face. He wouldn't be worth it to me. (I camped Arcturis, who I adore - it's like I can play my druid AND hunter at the same time!)

But yeah. I thought every second of the eight-hour camp for Arccy was worth it, every gold spent on tremendously overpriced speed pots for The Beast was worth it, every second of Nuramoc and OCJ's camps were worth it. <3 Loque might be the same for you.

ok, now i just have to find something to do while im looking for him, when no friends online and guild is dead, it gets lonely and boring looking for him x.x
