Theres a bunch of new information there. Look at all the new loot.
Tip: Save your badges and dont spend on the Frost Cloaks ~ These 251 ones should be easy to get ~ There are some other nice things in there too

I read that this morning. I wonder if we'll be able to run them each time the portals open (every couple of hours?) or if you get saved for the day...

I saw the news about it, but I'm going to try not to read any details since I'd rather be surprised for this stuff. ^^ I don't think the Zombie event from WotLK went to PTR, so when it began it was completely new and exciting.

I think I am in a big minority who really LOVED the zombie event. Southshore was my favorite target. It was fun infecting all of the townspeople and guards to make a legion of ghouls. I think i spent several hours alone just running around infecting things.
Sidebar ~ I hated those players who deliberately would try and kill me even if i wasnt bugging them. A lot of people in this "game" really treat it as something completely else (in the wrong way) unfortunately. Not to knock whatsoever on RP, but I'm more talking about those jerkfaces who get upset over little things often (raid leaders who curse at people) and have no senses of humor; or those especially who like to play just to make it miserable for other people (ninjas, gankers, campers, etc.)

heck yeah. Zombie invasion ruled. Wrath pre-event was pretty solid. Hoping the new events continue to own.

AWESOME!
The frost cloak is still BiS, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. All this gear is obsolete already anyway.

Hey Kalli, way to rain on the parade!
Naw seriously, while I know I'll replace it as soon as I start questing in Cata, I'm still gonna farm the crap outta those bosses for the three 80s I have that aren't that well geared. If nothing else, the better gear will at least help me those first levels while I quest my way to replacements.

Indeed. Plus i would rather get ~ 1000g for 2 primordial saronites (with frost badges) than get a cloak that is almost equilvilant to thise one if this is going to be easy to obtain.

Oh yeah, it's nice for alts. But still, it'll all be replaced anyway.

Zombie Invasion was one of the best ingame events ever, imo.
