I finally managed to get Beta-Tahlian more or less unstuck...at least I'm not freezing up as soon as I load in. So I trot him down to start questing in Uldum, send in the pet, fire Serpent Sting, auto shot, hit Kill command, fire Cobra Shot...

Is that really a new Cobra Shot animation I'm seeing in Beta, where it looks like a green snake flies from my bow, through the air, and wraps itself around my target's neck?

Or am I seeing things? I just had some pretty major oral surgery and am on some good painkillers...but I'm hoping they're not making me hallucinate my beta hunter flinging snakes at people.

That is going to look seriously badass on extremely large opponents.

Or better yet, opponents without necks. Yeah...

All mobs have "necks". If you have DK you can test it. Just cast Strangulate and watch where the purple rings appear.

Yeah, that doesn't mean it's not going to look goofy, though.

It'll be interesting to see it on larger mobs. But yes...you shoot a snake at your target.

Yeah I saw this in Totalhalibut's Heroic Vortex Pinnacle video, looks nifty
