Is it true that Spirit Beast's Spirit Mend Exotic ability is no longer a "smart heal"? And does it auto-cast? Thank you!

It can be placed on auto-cast last time i checked on the PTR but i have not checked this last build.

yea its still a smart heal auto cast,

i was just saying most min maxers would turn it off cuz at focus cost its technically a dps loss now (very small tho XD).

It's not a dps loss. I've seen hunters leave it on. You're almost never at full focus anyway so 5 focus cost is never noticeable cause you regenerate it fast enough that you dont notice you even use the 5 focus.

Been playing with it a bit myself. If left on auto-cast it will cast it on you when you are low on HP from what I've seen, but not when you/pet are full. I made a macro like this, though, to use it when I like:

#showtooltip Spirit Mend
/target Acherontia
/cast Spirit Mend
/targetlasttarget

It will cast it on other party (/raid?) members when they're low?
