That large long blue thing is a whale shark. That dark spec off of my right should is Crikey, my croc. And here's a pic of Crikey close to me, so you guys can see the size comparison.

I hope it's more effective then the NR felreaver. That storm giant dude who I saw like once and was like 'wow he's big', but was still somehow unimpressed. I think it was just that, once you get the crap scared out of you by a felreaver, nothing else can really compare xP

But I have a feeling these Whale sharks will be pretty creepy considering they can move a lot faster then you under water lol.
(Though I'm still facepalming at the fact that they are agressive when whale sharks irl are mostly docile and also not preditors. D'oh)

Also the acheesement for killing one is lawlderful.
I always thought they should have a silly achievement for killing a Felreaver, cuz admit it, as soon as you were a high enough level you went out and rolfpwn't one and felt very vindicated. (I know I did xD)

Well, the ocean has come into that entire zone and Shimmering Flats since part of the eastern mountain range collapsed. So it's not far fetched.

As soon as I can, I'll post the pic of that shark with the map icon above it. >D And yes, the whole northeast wall of the Shimmering Flats area has collapsed. The water is VERY deep. If you jump off the boat and swim to the bottom, you're half drowned when you get there. The water's very murky, and there's remoras and tons of turtles. =D There's clouds of seabirds clogging the air, swooping down to scavenge dead sand turtles that are floating in clumps everywhere. Tigole's and Furer's has a boat! The goblin/gnome boat bobs gently in the water with the seabirds swooping around it, scanning the surface with huge beams of light.

Out of everything that's changed about this area, it's the screams of the seagulls that really cinches the whole destroyed and flooded zone effect for me.

So no way to swim down to the cave where you had to go and get that hoof from the Centaurs?

I think it's safe to say that the quest there is dead and gone. You could probably still get there with a water breathing potion, but I didn't try cause I forget where it is.
