Am I missing something? In Cata there's no talent or glyph to reduce Revive Pet cast time? Or is there one I'm not seeing? O.o

Nope. It's gone completely. If you're BM in a raid, you'll be useless for a rather long bit after your pet dies.

The pet will be providing your raid with one (or two) powerful raidbuffs, so they're most likely much more of a priority for healers in Cata.

Yeah, except when they res with 5k due to the retarded pet bug--which is always.

Or this gem--pet died in AB, I died shortly after. THEN, when I ressed, the pet did not. I couldn't revive him, and my Call Pet consisted of five Venomous Snakes.

Acher, to rez your pet, do the following:
1. Go to Stable Master
2. Call out a working pet and have it active (dont be mounted)
3. Swap out the working pet with the broken pet (replace in the same spot of your active roster
4. Rez pet

By doing this, it forces the game to call out your dead pet and make it active (although still dead) and therefore rez-able. It's a bug that's been around on Beta for some time, but has become less prevelant.

I'm pretty sure Blizzard will add a glyph for this at some point.

The "dead pet" bug in bgs is actually present on live. >_<

Wait, they do ? Last time I was on the PTR (a few days ago) at least, they don't.
Is rezzing with full health exclusive to beta ?

On the PTR, when I rez my pet, they came back with 15% of their base health, so, somewhere between 800-1000 for a level 80 pet.

Thanks Doth, but it was actually in a BG--no stable masters that I saw

And no, they don't res with full health; rarely, if ever. It's always 'bugged' at low hp and I have to use the pet's Spirit Mend on it.
