One of the things that pops into my mind is why do the pets have feet, but the mounts don't? Do they loose their legs when they get older?

The lack of feet on the Phoenix mount has actually always bothered me a bit too. It just looks so strange...how would it land? o.o

I thought that too, but if you have a look at it next to the dark phoenix mount, it's actually really pink compared. If they toned it down a touch and made it a little more "dark" I reckon it would look very sexy indeed

I always guessed it was like a little fireball, when it ran outta puff it would just turn to ashe... then from the ashes, be reborn as firey as ever! ;)

If you mouse over Kael'thas' phoenix, for example, it comes up as an Elemental, not a Beast. The lack of feet seems to fit the whole Elemental theme.

Just as the normal phoenix hatchling makes an awesome companion for a Fire Mage (Taysha loves hers), this dark phoenix will be perfect for a Shadow Priest or Warlock! I can't wait to have it on Emielee!

It wont be easy.... You need to get "united nations" Achievement. Raise 55 Rep to Exalted.

That's for everyone in the guild whose exp/reps/etc. count (that is, they're revered with the guild) though. Assuming the guild has more than one person who's been grinding a couple of reps, it's just a matter of having those toons build their guild rep. For example, my husband and I fulfill the requirement between our mains.
