Will they do well as a dps pet?

Yes. They're ferocity and they'll have a buff to strength and agility, much like the shaman totem and the DK buff. They might not end up being the best dps pet, but given how we'll be juggling pets to balance buffs for fights or group comp, I'd definitely say it's a valuable pet to have in your stables.

Since all pets have had their damage equalized,I'd say yes,but don't hold me to it. Furthermore,I don't care...I don't raid and I always
run with whatever pet I like. /shrug...which at the moment is my boar,Biscuit. Love that little piggy!

I actually did just that - to confirm the SB buff, I dug around on the forums. I always refer back to this post: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=4753 Malazee did some amazing work organising all the new pet info there.

All Spirit Beasts are ferocity, yes.

He's not actually 'with' the Bears. If you look at the bottom he's under the header 'Other Beasts With Similar Looks'. Mania added that feature so that people who may look for Arcturis under bears could be directed to him. But he's not a Tenacity pet, clicking him brings you to his proper page and he's a Ferocity Spirit Beast.
