Are you going to stick with your fave pet or gonna get a pet specifically for leveling?

I know that the Gezzarak I tame will become my number one pet for a while. Even better that Warp Stalkers are Tenacity, so it works out perfectly. ^^ The only rival would be the purple crocolisk if one shows up tameable. *crosses fingers*

Skorn will also still be a frequently used pet of course. ^^

Most likely a spider. The web is the most useful of the mostly useless pets for an MM and SV hunter.

I'll probably try out BM for a while and see how it does, so I'll use my fave pet, Ripley (tan silithid) even though they're more of a pvp pet.

I'll likely stick with my Ghost wolf out of pure love, it should be the first to 85 along with me. Thought the white fox and green cat may prove some competition with it after i ding.

URSA. (My bear, see sig.) Leveling is about the only time I get to really see him outside of major cities. I live for these moments. Happily, my favorite pet IS my leveling pet. xD

And for Kallimon, Gumbo. Of course.

Def meant a boar LOL a boat. So easy to level with a boat as your pet. Just run stuff over lol

When I'm in Suvival spec, Deadlock and her friends will accompany me (all wind serpents). When I'm soloing big fat elites in BM mode, Loki, Kael, Jezebel, Torrogar, Hunger, and Arccy (core hound, two warp stalkers, croc, silithid, spirit beast) will be working by my side. While I'm in PvP, Kael, Jezzy, Odin, and Torrogar will take turns. When I'm handling bunches of stuff at once, Odin and Dust will be there for me (Chimera, Worm). When I'm just questing I suppose Paranoia will probably do a lot (wolf), and perhaps a raptor.

...More too, of course. Basically I'm swapping whenever I can.

That depends on what spec I decide to use:

For BM - probably Apollyon. He's my favorite pet of my current group and should therefore be the first to get to 85 with me if I go BM. Right after that would be Shikon (Gondria), if/when I'm able to find her again.

For SV - that's going to be a bit tougher. I would love to use Naphthali mostly, but then I also tamed a monkey and was having a lot of fun with it. But, Naphthali would most likely be first because she's my favorite non-exotic pet.

Other must-level's or must-have's include Piandao (my Azzere), Duskfang (currently untameable but I'm still hoping!) and Sheldon.

Let's all just face it, there are going to be a lot to choose from. It's going to be hard to not use a little bit of everything.

Gosh-Haldir. She's a blue/green croc in Loch Modan. I stumbled over her when I was lookin for red foxes, and she's the very first rare I got to tame! I love her sooooo much, and she's perfect for the watery Vashj'ir area. You definitely need to have a swimming pet for that area.



But other than her, I want a mastiff named Baird, a color-changing trench stalker to name Chameleon, and a flappy green and yellow parrot I'm gonna call Tijuana.

Right now I'm thinking I'll stick with Bait, my yellow worm. We just seem to click. But from my beta experience, cunning pets have proven pretty good too, and I'm kind of liking silithids. I also have two spirit beasts, so who know.

I do quite enjoy using a spider (or Silithid) due to the web abilities.. makes soloing even easier with one more utility in your arsenal to keep your foe at trange.

Yeah...but...spiders.....urk! I just had one fall from the ceiling into my hand today.

For all of you spider lovers out there, I'll let you know that I didn't kill it, I ran outside with it on my hand and shook it off into the grass while trying not to scream like a girl.

Oh I don't like them either! However in-game ones I can tolerate - especially when it's on MY side!
