I just got Loqur by luck lol, but does anyone have a name suggestion for him idk what to name him i love him soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much been farming for a long time

I named mine Kakashi because of the emotes he uses are very Kakashi-like on PetEmote. XD

It depends, do you see your Spirit Beast as Male or Female?

Do you prefer names that are serious, or a bit silly?

How important is it for your hunter's name and your pet's name to coordinate?

My Loque is named Zephyr because the swirl designs on her fur make me think of a gentle wind. Also, my hunter's name is Zippyskippy so I gravitate toward Z-names for her pets. My Gondria is named Zaniah. Of course, I named my albino Devilsaur PinkyWinky, so you may not like naming advice from me!

i named mine Posner though when weekly cooldown is up i'll change it to pusner for the lolz...the story behind it. it's an terryfying name that is. Posner was/is a doctor who found out about the Loq (ck) ed in syndrome. a full paralysis beside being able to hear, see, wink and roll u'r eyes. so u'r kinda trapped in u'r body just thought itwould be nice for him to have a terryfying name...

I didn't say Harkoa was his mother. Nor did I say his mate named him. I said his mommy named him. All the named creatures I believe are named by their mommies, so any named creature I tame, I keep their given name.

I called mine Winter, after my daughter. The most beautiful pet in the game deserved to be named after her

I named mine Bakeneko, which is a Japanese spirit cat of sorts.

I name mine a name that seems to fit them.

Like I would (have) with IRL pets.

The first dog I named was Pixie. She was small, bright, and it fit her. I have no way to know what her mommy called her, and besides, I became her "mommy" when she joined my family. She was a good dog, and when she got old and sick and her time came, we were all very sorry to have to say goodbye.

My favorite cat that ever lived allowed me to call her Pumpkin. She came to us in the fall, and had lovely orange and brown markings. She was super-affectionate, would purr lovingly just because you entered the room. She not only tolerated my small children, she loved on them. She was, however, very determined to go outside and enjoy the fresh air, having started her life as a stray. One day she darted out before anyone could stop her, and we never saw her again. I miss that cat.

My hunter pets in WoW also agree to be called by whatever name I give them. Sometimes, I have given them a name and neither of us were satisfied with it, thank goodness for certificates of ownership!
