I found poor Snort the Heckler wandering the big chasm separating Northern and Southern Barrens. It made me a little sad for some reason to see our old friend looking so out of place next to the lava. I'm including a SS of the map so you can see where he's at. Waaay up there in the northwestern corner. But at least he survived the Cataclysm!

Oh my.....Ah.....lost indeed...looks like he kinda got his face stuck....in a cliffside....XD

Poor guy is *just* hanging on there. That's just cruel Next we'll find the Strider Clutchmother strung upside down over some troll's cooking pot or something.

Whoa, haven't seen the Barrens map yet. Ratchet and Crossroads are GONE O.O Wailing Caverns are in the Southern Barrens, looks like the oasis in the northwest is gone too. Wow.

Actually, they're still there. It's just that this map is of the Southern Barrens. Ratchet and Crossroads are on the Northern Barrens map, if I remember correctly.

Thats one way to get stoned XD sorry had to do it.

Ih...a little pathing bug is no big deal, really, so long as it's reported. At least he's still around, right?

He's probably intended to be living a little to the left or right of the big trench and they didn't get his co-ordinates quite right in the system.

Ah, no, I forgot. I was very tired and en-route to Stonetalon Mtns. to check on the tameability of the spirit wolves there (which was a no-go, sadly). I will tonight, though. Thanks for reminding me!!!

I was planning on taming Snort in Cata -- hope they fix his path. Trying to get him out from that wall would be a huge pain!

Thanks for reporting, Rhy! Poor lil' guy... After finding Mongress inside a tree after SIX YEARS of spawning there, I've been extra worried about pets whose paths used to go through places like that.

I found him tonight. He actually tracks across open area, through the muddle of a quest npc, and then down into the chasm, so he's not usually stuck down there. His path is weird, though, so I still bugged it.

Next we'll find the Strider Clutchmother strung upside down over some troll's cooking pot or something.

Actually I'll be cooking her rotisserie style over the fire. *licks chops*
