I hope so. I'm just thinking of some I grew that were so hot that if I picked them without gloves on, my hands burned...

The problem with the meat industry is how industrialized it is. Yes, the animals are more often than not treated very poorly. Rather than buy from a chain grocery store, try looking for local butchers. The animals are healthier and the meat looks and tastes a heck of a lot better (in my opinion). It costs more up front because you typically buy a half-cow (or a whole cow, depending on family size) for the whole year, but you can store it in a freezer and have it ready whenever you want it. It's economical, more humane towards the animals, and supports your local community's farmers/butchers. It's a win-win situation, really.

Vegans only piss me off when they act like your some muderer for eating meat and/or hunting. With there "meat is murder" or "humans are not made for eating meat so your dumb for doing so". Heck go read my latest post in the "What grinds my gears" thread to see why some really do piss me off. I mean me going rabbit hunting is HELPING new zealand if there was no people like me who did that well new zealand would not have any native plant life anymore cos it would of been eaten cos theres no meateaters big enuff to hunt rabbits. :S Peta would be cooler if they did not yell at me on the street.

Uhm... Forcing a child to go on a vegan diet is WORSE than eating hamburgers... Kids need the various proteins and stuff in the meat to grow, it's downright unhealthy for a child to be a vegetarian.

My arguement still stands against all vegetarians and vegans.

Is it our fault we're smart enough to raise and breed our food for eating? So we have higher intelligence and thumbs! We make USE of the tools nature gave us. Is that our fault? If they had higher intelligence and thumbs, I'd bet evolution would make us the cows and the cows the humans.

Besides, ants raise aphids. We raise cows, pigs, and chickens. See? Totally natural.
