Exotic worms finally got damage added to their area-of-effect ability.

Out of curiosity - it has a stun, so is the damage as high as the non-stunning Chimera? Also, are they affected by Spiked Collar?

I don't know. And Spiked Collar affects pets' Basic attacks.

The Chimera channels a frozen breath attack, causing (243 + ((RAP * 0.40) * 0.24)) Spellstorm damage every 2 sec for 8 sec to to all enemies within the area.

Burrow Attack Level 85
30 Focus 35 yd range
Instant 30 sec cooldown
The Worm burrows into the earth, shaking the ground above dealing (257 + ((RAP * 0.40) * 0.24)) Nature damage over 8 sec.


So the Chimera does more damage (it has 4 ticks, the worm has about as much as one of its ticks overall) but is channeled and lacks a stun. It also lacks a CD and costs a little less.

AoE stun? Nifty.

The chimaera's breath is still bugged, as its focus cost seems to go up for some reasons. Mine yesterday was at 48 focus. As for Burrow Attack, bugged too since the 30 secs cooldown never triggers. But it does stun everything in its area for a whole 8 seconds while doing above 1k damage, over 2k crit, with the gear I have (full T9 and mostly gear that isn't from Frost emblems).

My 84 hunter in quest gear was doing about 2k a tick with her worm. The cooldown doesn't trigger, and it can't be set to autocast currently. I haven't gotten a chimera's ability to work consistently to test that.
