Hello everybody, i'm currently on the beta hunting for Jadefang, I have found him/her using target macros know where s/he is. I really can't get to Jadefang though. So does anyone know how to get up into Jadefangs tunnel? Have been running around for about an hour now.

Any help would be appreciated

It was published earlier. I can tell you if you don't want to work it out for yourself. I only mention this because it was clearly designed to be a kind of puzzle, rather than just a work-around trick, so not everyone will want to just be told. One thing I'll tell you though, i don't believe you can get up there until you get to the point in the quest chain where you are offered dailies in that cave.

I had a feeling it might have been a quest related thing. It's ok, I will work it out myself I was just checking in case I had missed something unbelievably obvious. Will earn my cool spider-thing

Good luck I have to say I spent hours wandering that place looking for some hidden passage I'd missed or wondering if it was stuck inside the wall.

Hey Wain, do you by chance know if that quest is offered everyday? Or some kind of rotating quest? I got the pet on my pally but my hunter hit 85 so I wanted to tame. But the quest wasn't these. I dunno if it was a phasing bug or something, or if the quest isn't offered every day.

Edit: My phone is retarded and sometimes substitutes the dumbest words for words it doesn't know.

The quest, along with the Pebbles quest, appears so be gone since last patch.

Hopefully a bug (since the Pebbles Achievement is still there)

Or, if it's rotating I have just been unlucky .... with 6 Rock Lobster dailies in a row that's definitely a possibility.

Update: After todays reset, I would say that some of the quests appear to be rotating

The quest giver was there today when I checked. Maybe there was a phasing bug? :/ I'll check again whenever I go past to see if sometimes they're not present.

I see the quest giver, but the quest is not available. But I'm pretty sure it's because the dailies are randomized now.

Update: Got the quest today, so it's still doable

Aah, that is so cool! XD After around half an hour of trying, I found the way to get to him. <3 Wish there were more pets like him.

Sweet That thing reminded me of playing Mario or Zelda a bit

So s/he is a pet you need to have a daily (that part had me for a loop) to get into the area or you have to whirl around a maze to find?

Either way Jadey is going onto the list of atleast must find!! Challenging pets are the best.

So you need to be doubly lucky? - to get the daily and have him spawn? /intrigued...

Oh couldnt you just get the daily get up there and if he isnt there just log out, just wondering because i don't have PTR

This isn't the ptr, it's beta. He won't be available until Cata because he's in a new zone. But yeah, I guess holding on to the daily until he spawns is a possibility.

Great~. Just great~, now see this is also one of my 'pet' peeves. A rare spawned hunter pet that drops a mini pet as well. I'm a major mini pet collector and I love this green shale spider so I'm going to have to hunt it twice...oh joy...ugh...lets hope the spawn timer isn't long and that it only spawns in one place....please blizz?

Jadefang is indeed gorgeous but why does it seem that green mobs are harder to get to sometimes, I tell you, they do it on purpose heh. My love for green goes way beyond WoW, heck, I even own a green can-opener ^^' More power to all the green lovers here in figuring out the puzzle to get this pretty spider.
