Cataclysm pets - release?

When will we get to see our shiny new brainbug? 4.0.3? Or do we need the expansion to get certain skins/models etc?

The new skins and models won't appear until Cataclysm is released, or possibly a few in the patch that changes the world. They won't appear for the upcoming patch that adds the new stables and abilities though.

Darn, I was hoping to see my bugs devour some enemies.

4.0.3 is the guess, yep! 
But keep in mind that the patch that's (pretty much) slated for next week is 4.0.1.
