Omgomgomg!! The females look SO cool now. I couldn't stand the 'beautiful' but bad looking model that we've seen so far. The new one is much more improved, I love her crazy eyes! I definitely think I will be rolling one now.

Yeah, this is obviously just one model - I saw a series of different faces + hairstyles + colouring here (this post was made before the latest update), and I imagine that with all that variety, I'll be able to find some very nice combos for my warlock and warrior. Heck, I'll probably be tempted to make more... (I always am. )

Hmm, actually looking more and more at the worgen... look at their bodies. Their boob are HUGE. They have really have awkward anatomy here. o_O But still, the faces are an immense improvement, especially their muzzle. I like the eyes in Beta 1 though.

Yeah they still need to do some work in the chest area. You can't really tell how awkward it is (and I don't know if it's fixed this time around) but in the latest iteration, the breasts were just about shoulder height. Very awkward. I'm certain Blizz isn't done with them yet. I like where they're heading with them though.

I actually loved the whole different-coloured eye thing they had when we first saw pictures of them. The faces were odd, more foxy than wolfy, but I liked that we didn't necessarily have the yellow eyes. My warlock was going to have purple eyes, dammit! Ah well, perhaps they'll put that back. Either way, it won't stop me from playing the race.


Edit: Perhaps someone with beta access can take some screen caps later, so we can see whether they've fixed the most awkward anatomy and if the eye shape changes between faces?

Wish they could be in game so we can check them out.. =/

It does look like Blizz is getting closer to a final model, so I'm sure they'll be available to play soon.

Really loving the newer faces! Still look ferocious, but a tad less rabid. Kudos Blizz, you're on the right track.

Much much better Blizz. I may actually make a race that is of the opposite sex now, I always never understood why other guys wanted to make female characters. I suppose for the heck of it? But whatever, I think they look cooler and better and may play one now.

Edit: Ah of course, the boobs. Thats why you want to play them.... -_-*

They must've fired their boob texture mapper or something. A really nice case of WoW boobs would be the human, dwarf and possibly troll female.

Woo, definitely a step in the right direction with the muzzle...still looks a bit off to me, but much better than the pronounced stop of the original. I'm sure they still have a lot of tweaking to do, I'm really glad they seem to be listening though.

Last time I checked, when you select "Face" styles, it only cycles through different patterns (i.e. blazes, muzzle colors, etc.). The actual facial features (eyes, eyebrows, snarls, etc.) don't change yet. There are also no alternate hair colors for the worgen, but it does cycle through the human female hair colors. Let's see...other than that...I still think the model is being worked on. The butt is very square-looking and the boobs look over-inflated. Plus, their shoulder armor is enormous, like...ridiculously so. But each time they work on it, the more I like it.

meh I think Alpha is better...the permanent snarl makes her look silly

I love werewolfs but the Worgen just seam pointless. Hold on while I get my hunter to put this lame dog down...

Um, anyway...yeah, the faces are looking a bit better. Somewhat less like a rabid chihuahua. The whole torso needs a lot of work though.
