Whether they be old or new, exotic or just your average pet, what are some of the beasts you would like to see become tameable in the future?

Basilisks are one I think would be a nice addition, whether as a part of the crocs, or on it's own. I'd also love to see the original spirit wolf come back and more skins for the classic wolf/coyote look.

Storm Lizards like the ones you find all over the Barrens would be nice, make it a tenacity pet, it'd be like a combo of wind serpent and rhino.

Right now the two beasts that I'm pining over would be Hydras and Stags. I had high hopes for both of them to be added in Cataclysm, but so far it looks like they might remain untameable. (still keeping a small spark of hope though!)

I've always loved Hydras in game, they're just such an awesome looking creature. I often dreamed of how cool it would be to have one as a pet. When that mistakenly labelled Ghost Hydra was tameable for a short period of time I just about died of shock, but sadly I was about 5 days too late to tame it before it was retired.

The black stags in Ashenvale with the green eyes are also a dream pet that I've wanted since my early days of playing the game.

Aside from that I think it would be neat to see Basilisks added, especially the Outland models since I just love the purple one.

I thought the Jormungar worms were tameable?

Jormungars are tameable, but there's only one skin. She meant that she'd like to see more colour variety since there are different skins in the game files that haven't been used.

Yup. Thats what I meant. I saw some of the unused ones like the black and the white ones and absolutely looooved them! Same with the two wind serpent ones in a different topic that arent used.

Basilisks, gyreworms, diemetradons and mana wyrms. The latter could give a party-wide mana regen buff.

On topic, I really really really wish they'd sneak in the spiny raptor from the art. Ever since I saw it at Blizzcon, I have been obsessing over it, waiting patiently. I'd also love me some more dinosaurs in general. I can't get enough of them, being a paleontology major and all.

Now that I think about it, I'd also like to see the pterodactyls from ungoro, and the zhevra's from the barrens tameable as well, have the pterodactyls keep the fear ability, and make it not auto cast, so you can use it for cc if you need.

Hydras may sound fun, but having the ghost hydra for myself. It can drive you NUTS. The grr hiss sound it makes? It will do it, over and over again, NON STOP, rarly ever shutting up and when it does only for a short few moments... it even will do it when running, and when it runs it does the THOMPTHOMPTHOMP like core hounds only you can hear this a lot further away.

If you think the flapping of flying pets or the soft sounds some pets make can be annoying. A hydra would drive you up the wall ;3

I have been kissed from randoms taking it with me cause the tanks gotten annoyed with its non stop hissing in it's ear... and I just love parking it in an AH, it don't take long before people start pipping up. :3

ANYWAY. I agree, I always wanted the undead wind serpent, it looks so amazing to me. Can you just see such with an undead hunter?

I've been around the hydra pets constantly, and I adore their noises, so no it wouldn't bother me.

We got mounts and companion pets for that plus I think they're too big.

Also what I'd like to see is a Raptor Spirit Beast and maybe the big mana wyrms in Nexus. X3

Hydras of course. And the Fen Striders too! We don't have enough Outlandish mobs tamable imho.

I'd also add more demon dogs to the list...the ones in tirisfal were one of the few creatures I encountered where I was absolutely heartbroken when I couldn't tame The ones we got now are ok, but I'd prefer the old world/outland colors much more.

ooh...the blue mage demon dogs....do want!

The red tameable mage slayer that exists now could pretty much be split away from the wolves, and combined with the blue mage slayers, and all the darkhounds and made into a new family of devil dogs. They would look especially awesome with undead hunters.
