Hunter

* Newly created Hunters have a pet bar.
* Beetles cannot be tamed.
* Several Hunter Pet spells appear in the Pet tab of the Spellbook before a Hunter is able to actually use them.
* Pets have no animation for the ability "Carrion Feeder."
* Wolverine Bite's is displaying incorrect numerical information in the combat log.
* The exotic pet spell Froststorm Breath does not function according to its tooltip.
* The debuff tooltip for Froststorm Breath is inconsistent with the spell tooltip.
* The tooltip for Chimera Shot does not mention the healing effects of this ability.
* The spell effect for Cobra Shot travels past creature models.
* The survival talent Black Arrow does not do the same amount of damage as indicated by its tooltip.
* Many hunter pet abilities are removed from the pet's action bar upon relogging into the game or zoning.
* Devilsaur are not displaying correctly in the hunter pet UI.

Environments

* Resizing the game window while in windowed mode makes bodies of water disappear in game.

Items

* Barrier of the Earth Princess still offers defense rating.
* Many items are losing their bonus armor.
* There are multiple items that are still giving socket bonuses.
* There is no recipe to craft a Glyph of Vanish.
* Overwriting any active glyph by using a second active glyph will still use Vanishing Powder and erase the first glyph (despite an error message afterward), instead of preventing erasure of the targeted glyph.

Quests

* Dungeon Finder doesn't mention the Justice Point reward in Random Lich King Dungeon or Random Lich King Heroic.
* In the quest "Hammering It Out," the NPC name is not correct in the objective.

* The portals in the Twilight Hammer event doesn't take you to the named position.
* The last remaining player in a random instance group can miss out on Random Dungeon loot
* Players from different servers can't trade dungeon items necessary to progress through the dungeon.

User Interface

* Changing between System Default and Microphone in the Voice Chat settings after recording a voice sample can cause a crash.
* Character and Pet UI can disappear if the player uses the LFD teleport to dungeon immediately after leaving a quest vehicle.
* Warlocks and Paladins will see the chat messages that Cold Weather Flying and Flight Master's License are unlocked when they reach level 20.

There's a bunch more for other classes other than hunter. Check them out here.

Seriously tough, I'm just a bit sad. This is the last day before we get it in Europe, and I'm not looking forward to it. I don't care much for most of the changes, 's all.

Oh c'mon. The changes are more awesome and were definitely needed and should have been done long before now.

And I disagree completely. We already had a discussion like this here, and it didn't end up pretty. I'll just do us all a favor and drop it.

Woo. An expansion. Yay.

They're a bit shocking, to be sure. I'll miss my iceblade arrows...I kept a stack, hehe. And I managed to get that Knuckle Sandwich achievement at the last minute, so I'm good!

Just look forward to the changes. You will love it...just give it time. If we never change, we become like old dry sticks and will crack under pressure. Only if we're flexible like the willow will we survive the storm. =)

I support the ammo changes, and I'm neutral on weapon skill removements. I don't like the talent trees, and a lot of other changes. But as I said, I'm dropping it. Just needed to make that clear first.

I agree probably almost somewhat kind've mostly with that statement.

When new expansions come out or big new patches, I tend to get caught up in the frenzy of OMG NEW SHINY!!!! Overall I still liked the game better back in Vanilla compared to all the other new shineys that have been given to us over the years.

Some positives are indeed added to help the game, mainly I can think of the dungeon finder (i remember spending 1-1.5 hours to get a group started for Scholomance) and the Engineering tools (i will always like new engineering things).

I don't know, new things are always fun though, there's just a bit of the ol' geezer in me that thinks

"We can't bust heads like we used to. But we have our ways. One trick is to tell stories that don't go anywhere. Like the time I caught the griffon to Kalimdor. I needed a new enchant for m'boots. So I decided to go to Thunder Bluff, which is what they called Stormwind in those days. and so I tied an onion to my belt, used up the belt buckle I did. Which was the style at the time. Now, to take the griffon cost a 5-silver piece, and in those days, 5-silver pieces had pictures of murlocs on 'em. Gimme five mrrrgrrrrlgrrr's for 25 silver, you'd say. Now where was I... oh yeah. The important thing was that I had an onion tied to my belt in the belt buckle socket, which was the style at the time that I created. You couldn't get white onions, because of the War of the Ancients. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones... but then you would lose the socket bonuses that you get with the Onion... I was the only one with a onion socket and thats how Blizzard came up with Jewelcrafting... which was the style at the time...

Wise words Janglian-san,

Change will happen whether we like it or not, Since I've never been a min/maxer or really hardcore do as much dps as I can kinda person, I just like to kill things, if I can still do that, then, i am relatively happy :)

If %t dies and Makoes doesnt, then all is right in my world :)

As for bugs...show me a patch that wasn't bugged...gives people something to complain about and re-direct thier attention from other stuff. Nice decoy things so blizz can fix it and make people happy while still being able to focus on fixing other things with less QQ from the Wow community.
Thats how I see it anyhow.

Come on now guys, let's get back on track. This is just a thread for bug and glitches for 4.01. =x And thank you, Makoes-kun. /bows

Perhaps there should be a ptr version of WoW for just vanilla. Like, you pay for normal wow, and you can download the pure old school client, where 60 was the cap, Dragonstalker was hot, you had to walk uphill both ways in 3 feet of snow barefoot, there was ONE auction house in Lagforge and Lagrimmar, finding a group for raids took days sometimes, 40-mans were the norm, getting gold was like winning the lottery, you can only tame one of eight animal families, bags topped out at 16 slots, and Leeroy Jenkins was new.

Yah it is. I'm not sure why it made it to live. I don't recall the last patch having this many bugs prior to going live. I like most of the hunter changes expect Beasital wrath. They nerfed it so hard it's not even worth using anymore. Mark's .. well that was just one messed up spec that I didn't like. I prefer the old marks over the new one.

There's a bug where you're able to withdraw unlimited stacks of things in a guild bank if you are limited to 1-2. I don't know if this is in the patch, but it's there if you know how to do it. :o
