Call Pet 5 only becomes available at 82 though, or did they change that for live?

No offense or anything, but since the only real changes that went live with the new patch were UI and class changes, there are no "newly tamable pets".

I am super excited aswell! Only problem is I can't log onto my hunter, keeps giving me the loading screen bug =/

Helboars are untameable.

Just farmed 20 Time Lost scrolls... curious if Gezz is tameable, but I don't want to waste scrolls.. so someone else waste some scrolls.

Um... some of you need to read the patch notes... more is in this patch than UI and class changes.

Actually there is the possibility, I need to find the thread... which I can't find, but someone listed off hunter bugs and amongst them was, bolded by the OP, think it was Adamsavage; Beetles being untamable. Now why would Beetles have been listed as untameable as a bug ironically, for patch 4.0.1 notes? That is why I am asking.

The scrolls aren't hard to farm at anyrate really, and even if she proves untameable you still get a bit of gold for your effort.

Repeat from other threads: No new skins are tameable. Gezzarak, Hive Queen, Felboars....none of them.

Was hopin to go out and tame some new skins, if not new families of pets...I really want that white wasp from Feralas...

New skins won't be available until Cata, won't they?

Blizz has to get the content ready for Cata before they worry about what pets are tameable or not.

I've been running left and right taming all the prities I didn't have space for before.

When you're out taming pets... I stabled my 5 that I already had, then went out to tame 5 more. Fater the first pet, can you move it to an empty slot and tame another or do you have to go to the stable master to bank it? I'm wondering if I can make 4 trips out to get 5 pets each run, or if I have to make 20 indiviual trips.

To tame a new pet you only need to have an "open" Call Pet slot, and dismiss (not abandon!) the pet you have out (if any). The newly tamed pet automatically goes into the first available Call Pet slot. So yes, you can tame 5 pets before having to head back to the stable master!

And this is so much more convenient than the old way - my trusty worm was able to get me through UBRS to the Beast's lair without having to abandon him at the end

Awesome. I was hoping to string 5 tames together. TYVM!

... even though technically it's "24 is live", I've been spinning my wheels to get all the pets I want... at least one if each.

And so resumes my quest for my first Spirit Beast ever. Hoo boy. >_<

I am IN LOVE with my new Wind Serpent, Shiki, and even more-so his swim animation! I knew of their swim animation before of course, but the combination of the new water effects and the fact that he swims right on the surface just looks gorgeous. I've been wading in the pools of Nagrand for the past half hour just watching it, he skims across the water so gracefully.

I wish screenshots did it justice, but you really have to watch it in motion. Still, here's some shots of him:

WOW! Middle row, far left - that really shows off how gorgeous it looks. Dang, looks like I'm gonna have to take Piandao out for a little swim later!
