Forum Downtime

These forums run on the same server as Petopia proper.
Petopia is primarily flat HTML files, which (except for the hundreds and hundreds of pictures) makes it pretty light to load.
These forums are not light to load. They aren't that bad, just not flat HTML.
So I'll try to keep the forums up, but if things get too bad I'll need to take them down again.

Awe man! I've been trying since last night to get on! 
I think I'm addicted to Petopia! Glad their back and hope they don't go down again.

Must be getting a ton of traffic though right now. Completely understandable if you have to pull it till things steady out.

Mania, I went through very serious withdrawals because of this.
Very serious stuff. I was sitting in a corner, shivering but sweating, rocking back and forth, muttering incoherently...
All kidding aside, I did miss the forum all day. It's terrible when a good thing is taken away, even if it's temporary. Hooray for being back up!

I dunno if it would help but if people could use Image hosting sites vs hosting here that should help reduce the load on the site.

Oh my goodness, I think I may have tried to bring up the forums, what, maybe once very 5 minutes until I had to tell myself off and that it was simply widthdrawals 
Thanks for gettting them up and running again Mania, so glad to have everyone back.

Oh thank god... I've been thinking it was me this whole time. That my pc coan't handel a forum and downloading the patch at the same time.

It all makes sense now: high traffic on Petopia, not a single rare beast in sight tonight.....there must be other hunters looking for rare pets!!! :O Who'd have thought!
