I, too, am looking for a name for the Omen-model core hound. I thought it would be fun to have some sort of space travel or lunar reference for him, since Omen only comes out during WoW's Lunar Festival. Unfortunately, since I play on an RP server, my first choice of ApolloEleven probably won't fly, as well as being a bit dicey with the naming rules.

Anyone got any ideas for an RP-appropriate name for this bad boy?

January - The full moon in the month of January is known as the 'Full Wolf Moon'.
Chand - "Moon, light".
Ariel, Atlas, Charon, Deimos, Ganymede, Hyperion, Mimas, Oberon, Pallas, Phobos - All names of moons.
Koray - "Ember moon."

You could shorten it to just Apollo. Or use his sister Artemis, who's a moon goddess.

Omen is inspired by the tale of "Nian" from Chinese lore.

Is Omen tameable then? That's rather fun.

I'd say use "Monday"

Omen is a demon, non-tameable, but the Kurken has the same skin.

It's funny, I named my Kurken Apollo this Wednesday... Because I liked the idea that his sister is the Huntress. It seemed to fit.

Thanks for all the suggestions. In the end, I went with "Houston," as that is where Mission Control was for the Apollo 11 mission...not to mention that anyone on the business end of a big red two-headed angry dog does indeed have a problem.
