Well, its finally here! the ability to stable 25 pets. sadly you cant call on all 25 where ever you are (which would be amazing) but i guess 5 at a time is great =) Anyone totally surprised about something that changed for hunters since the release?

For me, its the fact of all the stat changes. my hunter gained 412 haste and 8.5K HP, and has 50% crit now ((was ArP gems before)), and the new trees are nice =)

The extra 8k health is really nice (Sitting at 42k in my PvP/PvE Tanking gear)

But the biggest surprise was that my tanking pet scaled perfectly with me. (It also has 42k health.)
With all the math I was doing it wasn't looking like that scaling would work that good. (You should see my monster spreadsheet. )
Also the new Mend Pet is awesome.
(Just did a couple of pulls in Heroic The Forge of Souls, and was quite surprised at how good Mend Pet has gotten: 5.5k per tick on my tanking pet)
So "extreme soloing" will not require Rift Stalker gear from what I have seen.
Well, at least until Cataclysm. Then we will see.

Overall I am extremely happy.
