Seems with the new patch, the Tabard of the Hand and Blood Knights are going missing.

Have a source on this? Both of my draenei have theirs.

My own draenei. She has the tabard but it keeps showing up as a guild tabard.

Other people have reported this happening on Moon Guard. Seems to be just a glitch.

It's just the guild tabard appearing over yours. It is a glitch, but not with the racial tabards. It's the guild one.

Like it shows up on the character screen but when I go in game, it shows the normal tabard of the hand.

There's also been talk that they're removing these tabards permanently but I've yet to see a blue post to confirm this. if anyone wants to double check, that'd be awesome.

Far as I have seen/heard, it is a guild tabard bug. I haven't heard anything about the racial tabards.

I think that just shows you that you are in a Guild. My Warlock has the Purple Illidari Tabard and, on the login screen, he is wearing the Guild Tabard. But in-game, he is not.

It seems any tabard now looks as a guild tabard sometimes, I have that happening to Alterac Valley and Illidari ones. They kind of switch back and forth between guild colors and their colors.

Probably not, since for my character it shows guild tabard on login screen when I just log to a server, and if I click on some other character, and back to the first one, it switches to the real tabard colors.

Funniest thing, our GM has been taking a long break from WoW, and no one has been willing to take over as official GM. Well, that is until the patch hit and we were all staring at our guild tabard on the log in screen. Had one of the officers on the phone to the GM pleading to get promoted so he could change the tabard!

let's not forget the class quests are all going to be removed. i think the tabards will get retired i can't comfirm anything but i think that's most likely. can you still get it now?

Far as i know, yes. I never heard of it being removed. People would throw a fit if that happened.

Also the tabards aren't class, they're race related.

A blue confirmed that the quest for the Blood Knight tabard is now gone; however, you will be able to get the tabard if you don't have it through the new lvl 50 class/race quest they're putting in dungeons. So If you don't have it now, don't worry, but you'll have to wait till Cata.
Not sure if the tabard of the hand quest chain was taken out as well, but if so it'll most likely go through the same treatment.

I never actually did the blood knight tabard bit, so I can't speak for that, but the tabard of the hand was easily available to draenei who quested in their own starting area. It was after the group escort quest with the elites. Depending on how Blizzard works things, it still might be appropriate for new Cataclysm draenei. They ARE on cleanup crews, after all.

Well, I know this might be off topic. But if you are a Draenei, and Race Change (not sure about Faction), you keep your Tabard of the Hand.

I sport it occasionally on my Dwarf Paladin, I usually get a couple whispers about it.

Ooh....epic. XD pity Draenei cant be druids.
