So, just to ask the question, is she tameable again now we're in 4.0. land, or is it just Cata that brings her back to us? Really want to get myself a lovely black warpy

Gezz should either be tameable in the next patch (in 4-6 weeks), or after Cataclysm actaully goes live (12/07/10).

My guess for the next patch should be around the third week on November... that way they can iron out in bugs before the actual expansion hits 2-3 weeks after that.

We are on patch 4.0.1 now... 4.0.3 is the next one.... and the Cataclysm.

As soon as the realms came up and I could get to Outland to check, Felboars are not tameable. Oh well. 4.0.3!

We have 4.0.2 between now and 4.0.3 - there's a transitionary patch for the elemental invasion. (Which is REALLY cool-looking.)

Yes, Blizz did not change any of the pets class's or tamable/untamable flags this patch. So if it wasn't tamable or marked as a beast before hand, it's still not now. Most likely the change will be applied when Cata hits.
