Yeap thats it. I lost both my enchants on my Axes with the new patch. I put in a ticket and GM replied basically

"Yeah we know about this but we can't do anything about it and yeah.... you're not going to get reimbursed or anything either... sorry"

I can probably get a Screenshot of the ingame mail I recieved about it. Ugh

That's very much NOT the usual response from GMs about these things..

Out of interest, what item(s) and what enchant(s)?

Personally, I'd wait a day and re-submit the request, chances are the next GM will fix it or at least tell you something better than that!

It was only +26 agility to weapon and i think +50 AP to weapon. I was a bit suprised that I got a flat out "no" too. It was very non-personable too. I'll post the letter when i get home from work

Ugh, sounds like an awful bug. I need to check my toons to make sure they're all ok.

Is there a thread with known patch bugs? My hunter cat pet sounds like a wolf sometimes.

As long as the enchants still exist (and can still be cast on those weapons) I don't understand why there'd be a flat "no" from the GM. Maybe having a bad day? Unless EVERYONE lost their enchants (in which case, !)

Hmm, just checked all my gear and I don't seem to be missing anything. Hopefully the GMs will sort that out for you.

yeah it was just on my hunter, my paladin kept all of hers.. i think. didnt check other characters though. a couple people in Trade said they had a similar problem, so I don't think its common, but it isnt rare either

Maybe they can replace them with racing stripes?

Seriously though, there is already a blue post on the forums acknowledging that they aren't going to be restoring or reimbursing any lost enchantments...

YES! Racing Stripes! You have been reading my posts on what I think Blizz should do with the BEAST and him losing his BOSS tag I see

I wish. I would take racing stripes on my gear over an enchant any day.

You think it would be easy, I see you had this enchant ____ ~ its gone now but I'm sending you the materials to get it done again (you'll have to find your own enchanter though I'm afriad)

How hard is that? I bet they could even send you a weapon enchant scroll. Jeepers...

I bet Blizzard invested too much of that repair gold into the Goblin Wall Street and now they have to nickel 'n dime us

Unfortunately it seems your weapons were the superior candidate for the much coveted racing stripes, sadly - The Beast will just have to make do with his boring ol' boss tag, which he still has (at least for the next few months, pending some love from the dev team!)
