From the waters to the skies.

We all know that you could not (unless you are a shaman, priest or a DK) board a flying mount while in water but you could mount up to your land mount. Now there seems to be a change.

Well I was playing around the water in the Basin with my blue wyvern and he seemed to spash the water. Thus I started doing it again and again...because err..for science.
Then by a sudden move my mount was actually IN the water and I didn't get dismounted.

You do get dismounted if you go under the water. But it seems like that you can mount up to your flying mount and fly out of the water if you are on the surface.

Awesome! I'm going to, uhm, test that out for science too. Yeah. ˆ—ˆ

I love this change. ^^ It was in the Beta so I was curious if it would be implemented in live this patch. Very convenient for times when you find yourself in the middle of some water and want to just mount up instead of swimming all the way back to shore. :)

I actually try to always have a stack of water walking potions with me for that reason. Hehehe I'm too lazy to swim. xD

One of the many wonderful uses of water walkers! I'm pleased with the change though, I'll have to check this out. :)
