So first thing I wanna say is, this isn't the only time this has happened to me, it is just the only time i decided to take screenshots to prove it



in case you can't read it, The picture shows me talking to a friend saying

"man, I've been camping SB for so long"
"and still no King Krush or Loque'nahak"

and a few seconds later "_NPCScan: Found Loque'nahak



Anyway, this also happened when I found Skoll. I was in Storm Peaks camping a TLPD spawn point when this alliance hunter tried to kill me. after failing a few times he got on a horde toon (level 1) and said something along the lines of "dude leave me alone, im just trying to get skoll, I've been camping here for days now" i laughed at him and told him if he didnt want me to attack then he shouldnt attack me. then he starts dropping F bombs and freaking out so i told him "I'm not here to get skoll, I'm just here for TLPD" and he says alright and logs back on his NE hunter. he sits there and puts down a fish feast and eats it, then a DK comes along and deathgrips me down and they both kill me.

When I get back to my body i rez on top of the hunter with a freezing trap and kill the DK and then the hunter.

THIS IS WHERE IT GETS FUNNY.

The DK rezzes and flies away, then the hunter rezzes and freezes me. he then mounts up and flies away. as he's flying away Skoll spawns 5 feet from where i am. I switch to BM spec, put down a freezing trap in between me and him, and the stupid hunter comes falling down into the trap and freezes himself right after i caste tame pet on Skoll. He than had to sit there frozen while i tame the pet he had been sitting in SP for hours for. This all happened within about 3 mins of me saying i wasnt there for Skoll




Moral of the story
1: don't be stupid when it comes to camping a rare spawn, the last thing you want is trouble
2: If you say it, they will come!

This doesn't always work... it took me about 7 weeks before Aotona spawned for me and I was even asking him nicely to spawn in general chat.... he might not get general chat on his cable though.

Also, I have been cursing King Krush since the newest patch and he only comes around 30min after I log off.... I think he hears me cursing him and he thinks it is funny. Yeah, funny as in... I would tame him and keep him alive, but the other two people he dealt with killed him... yeah... WHO IS FUNNY NOW?!

That's hilarious! I love how WoW Karma tried to teach that hunter a lesson... (Whether he learned it is another issue entirely.) I have nothing but love for Ms. Karma. <3

That is the most hilarious thing I have ever read! serves that hunter right!
And im glad you friend found loque ^.^ I am hearing horror stories about shola.. and its true.. King krush has yet to spawn for my other hunter but there are usually around.. 16-20 people in shola at all times so its more like luck then anything else. Maybe ill try it.

LOL! Skoll was all "I'm not getting tamed by some scrubby hunter! Is he gone? ....yep? *spawn*"

Normally I would feel bad for the other guy that you got the SB he wanted. But in this particular case, he was being rude and it sounds like you hadn't done anything to provoke him, just defended yourself. So in this case, yeah, I would say it serves him right for being a jerk. That is a funny story.

Lul, nice story, karma is in your favor. This happened to me with TLPD, I was flying to Ulduar and thought "it's here", and sure enough it flew right by me. Those are the best times. =D
