So, I'm currently camping that familiar hill in Grizzly Hills. I never really cared for spirit beasts, but as my other main is a druid tank, I have a certain fondness for bears in WoW. Plus, I'm excited to play around with him stealthing and whatnot! It's fun because bears are generally tanks, and it'll just be cool to have one as dps.

Anyway, here are a few names I've been toying with while I wait for him to spawn.

Dipper - after the bear constellations
Grylls - after Bear Grylls, host of Man vs Wild (I love that show!)
Alkaid - a star in the constellation Ursa Major
Ursid - ursids is meteor activity that originates near Ursa Minor
Mugwump - Algonquian for "war chief"
Skookum - which means "powerful, supernaturally dangerous" in Chinook Jargon

Thoughts and suggestions are welcome. Wanted to stick with something celestial or from a Native American language.

I hate to say this but... most of those names make my mind race straight into the gutter. >_< Anyway, I vote Ursid. Besides, I find a meteor shower fits his ethereal form better than a star.

WOO!! I just tamed him like, 10 minutes ago! It was horrible, too... I nearly killed him, and stupid me, I wasn't thinking about the difference between "dismiss pet" and actually putting it in the stable. So I had to quickly use my ability to swap pets to stable my wolf, and ran away from Arcturis so he wouldn't kill me! PHEW.

Anywho, I'm actually thinking that I don't like any of those names now xD I was thinking something more ghostly, even a reference to the movie Ghostbusters would be awesome.

I actually was doing the /kiss emote here, but it looks more like I'm trying to possess him... or maybe it's me trying to refrain from strangling him/her after camping for so long, lulz..

Hehe, Dipper almost made the cut! Hubby said the first thing that came to mind were ghost pokemon, so I named him Haunter xD Yes, I'm a pokemon nerd >.> ((but only the original ones))

I've already leveled him to 80, too. It's ridiculous how easy they've made it to level pets :O

And I know what you mean, the pet I tamed last night dinged 1 kill after me - twice! It was NOT that easy when Sara was a baby! D:
