Hey, I expirienced many kinds of pets, and now i want to try new ones - Outland pets, i hope you can help me choose a pet, not a usual one that everyone use, a special one, such as a Nether Ray or Warp Stalker, but not ravager.

I've always adored the spore bats, but before the patch I never had enough room for one. Spore bats are one of the more underrated pets in-game, I rarely see anyone with one trailing after them.

Spore bats are definitely under-appreciated. I think the nether rays are too, though I personally prefer sporebats of the two.

I have a very soft spot for the Outlands raptors, but I think we'll be seeing more of those as people start to realise how useful raptors are now.

How about one of the green chimaeras from Shadowmoon Valley? You never see those around, at least on my server.

Yeah I would recommend Goby hunters grab one of the raptors in thier starting areas. They have some of the most striking color combinations I have seen.

Yeah i agree about the Outland raptors, I already got one, ill head to search the chimaera, btw, is it rare?

You could also go for one of the Zangarmarsh Fireflies. Most days if I see someone with a wasp, it's from Sholazar. I don't see many of the Zangarmarsh ones.

The chimaera I'm thinking of is this one:

It's not rare, just not widely used. I've never seen one as a hunter pet. Other outland pets... Let's see... I agree on the wasps, people tend to use the silithid type rather than the Outlands firefly kind. I like this one:


The two-headed carrion birds are gorgeous, how about this one?


Then of course there are the helboars, once 4.0.3 lands... They're definitely different, though I imagine they'll be popular for a while after 4.0.3.

A special pet is different for everyone. I suggest taming different ones and see how they work out.

I agree with you, but he specifically asked for suggestions. A taming spree to try them all on for size is pretty much a given...
